Dinged RDM 75 the other day, BST 60 just now, and cleared CoP 8-3 yesterday.

Now I need to finish off 3 more charges on my Allied Ring because we're getting another this week on Sylph.

Beat Treasures of Aht Urghan with drk/thf, mnk/dnc, blm/whm, rdm/whm pld/war and drg/drk. No one subbed nin and I beat the race I had with a friend that is no longer talking to me. Awesome day.

Congratulations everyone thats some good stuff.

To Elwynn make sure you check out Caedarva mire camp around 62. I loved it on Bst constant chain 4's going and no aggro.
Exit from west side of Nashmau then altenate between the leech at start of zone and leech at the pond.
Most guides say convert the pets. I just went with it and gave a few beatings to it myself.

Somebody I know happened to be doing Astral burns and asked me if I wanted to join in, so SMN dinged 52 last night. Add that to taking COR from 63 to 67, and PLD from 61 to 63, and it was a fairly good weekend ... oh, and one Allied ring and one Anniversary ring charge left (with another Allied as soon as I toss the first).

Though, what makes this worth posting before then is this: Adventuring Fellow from 33 to 34. Ugh, even getting her a single level took for-freaking-ever, I swear! I don't even remember the last time I saw her level up. Using up my Tactics Pearl and getting a new one certainly helped, I'm sure.

As a rule, you can expect a level every other time you call your Adventuring Fellow (for this level range), assuming you get the max number of kills and the mobs have 6 levels on your Fellow. I tend to use mine as a high-level farming assist and a Trick Attack target. Assuming you're using your Fellow to do assisted-soloing, it makes sense that you wouldn't see a lot of XP there ... especially under their level.

The best thing to do is to fight mobs that are 4-5+ levels over your NPC. I took mine from 30-70 and got all upgrades. The last thing I needed to do is get my NPC his foot wear armor to have him 100% complete.

The worst levels for me were 68-70. If I didnt level BST I probably would have never past level 68, purchased the 4th armor lock, and purchase the last two time upgrades. I was using skill up parties on steelshells but I changed him to smooth healer to get haste casted.

To clarify, I was using her when leveling Blue Mage whenever there weren't any spells to learn. And since her main level was 33 throughout almost all 24 levels of my Blue Mage career, well . . .

In all honesty, what I was hoping was that I wouldn't end up out-leveling her by a lot. I guess that's not happening, then . . .

Anyway, BLU 25 get. I think I'll work on Paladin to 50 next. Maybe get my ACP Goblin and Mandy fights out of the way as well, in the meantime.

Last thing I really did in FFXI was raise my NPC up to (what was then) the max level; did the whole BCNM thing.

Eventually I started go in parties, someone would drop out, I'd sub in my NPC and it would work great. Mostly leveling other jobs in lower level areas. Getting people going "what the hell was that" after a Blessed Radiance in Qifum was fun.

Got THF to 75, and SCH to 70 over the past week, finally I can wear my sweet Homam and Hecatomb on my THF, and holy shit is it a beast against most mobs ^^

Found a Nyzul {Super Climb} the other day shouting at the end of a Besieged where I was about to nod off to sleepyland, but managed to keep going long enough to use up three tags. Unfortunately we got a lot of bullshit (like Sleepgas and bonus aggro) and only cleared the first one. Still, 25 is better than 20. It didn't help that on the first sleepga, the SCH dropped a cure on me (the sleeping RDM) last, and on the other one he was lost halfway across the map while the mob overwrote the Sleepga with a Sleepga II. At least we didn't get kicked on a full wipe.

Dinged BST 61 on files and lynxes in Meriphitaud (S). It was a perfect lazy camp, and files top out at 60, so plenty of EM charms. I only died twice, once in range of the Sprite, and another right after I leveled. (The infamous "BST ding detector" is still working.) I basically kept that sprite as my Wide Scan target.

My objective was simply to use up an Allied Ring charge, and I succeeded. Only two charges left, and I plan to get the new ring as I pop the fifth charge on my current one.

I just saw that on the same guide where I found the Meriph_S camp. Looks shiny. It also looks a little too dangerous for me at 61, so I'm won't be going there for a day or three.
