Today one of my mentors from my social/event shell quit today. He was a very well geared sam/mnk/etc. I had a half hour before work, so i added him to my xbox live friends list. After doing so he sends me a tell to meet him outside the AUMH. I do so, he trades me about 1.5mil worth in gear. Its always sad to see someone quit, but now i can finish my sam with decent gear and maybe fund my black belt.

Has to go to a funeral on friday , so I've only just had chance to log into my account. Whilst I was there my friend got the Ifrit's Cauldron coffer for my mithra, dinged my npc on my elvaan and picked up my drk af helmet on her too. Cheered me right up, esp the helmet thing because I've done that on my previous characters and couldn't bear doing it again (drk70 on this one).

BLM Maat done. For a 75BLM with the +INT gear you would accumulate from soloing and burning, he was no problem. Freeze II, Stun, Flare II. The only thing I did wrong was to not hit Manafont, but I would have realized that rather quickly if I had to throw another nuke. And yay, +1 inventory by getting rid of that testimony.

Also, THF 44 and RDM 36. I'm working on getting TH2, and on getting RDM up to at least 40 for subjob and BCNMs.

And I made enough Bast Parchment to get from about 42.5 to the 45 cap. Now that we don't have a 1st place tie any more, I made a buttload of ink from three stacks of nebs, then three stacks of shihei bags from that. Much better than trying to sell off the parchments when their price was already down. Hmm, that's over 3500 shihei. That should be enough for a while, ha ha.

Was finally able to figure out how to get the last SS rank on Ace Frontier to release the limiter.

The YF-19 with capped tunning points is waaay too much fun to play with.

My latest accomplishments? Well I just got my first 61+ char and I've been playing off and on since release. Now on the other hand, I do have NIN, SAM, BLU, DRG, WAR, PLD, RDM, WHM, PUP, DNC, all level 50+ lol. and almost every job 37+

(I switch jobs a LOT)

and I just completed the 2-5 mammet fight yay (finally found 2 other nins that could take on a mammet) Killed mine first too :D

Oh yea Level 62 DRG btw :D (my 61+ :D)

I found some more Bast Parchment on a mule and made more shihei. Now I have five stacks of toolbags in my MH. I'm probably going to sell a couple of them when I get around to it. If only I had done that a few weeks ago, I could probably have made a killing last week when Fairy had a first-place tie.

Also, just bought a Pluto's Staff now that the price on HQ staves is finally coming down. But I should've started a lot lower with five of them up. I bid 10k below the last price and got it. But I'm the first to get one below 500k in a while.

EDIT: just got a Jupiter's staff for 500k too, but a check of who sold it makes me wonder what's really causing the recent decrease in HQ staff prices... Faaauea - Fairy - FFXIAH.com

A random name beginning with the first two letters of the server? Sounds like someone with mule accounts on multiple servers, which I doubt many "real" players would do. Suddenly appearing to sell nothing but expensive stuff? You gotta wonder where it all came from.

Cop 6-4 > sea access in one day, Time to start buying ancicent beastcoins and getting my brutal earring finally.

Went to sea this morning with the ls and finished 8-1 too, 3 more missions and Ill have my rajas finally.
Also did a but of blue spell farming saline coat mine, gonna work on the rest at some point this week and hopefully complete cop before the weeks out ^^. Never thought Id get this close to the end

Took PUP from 26 to 31 yesterday when someone in the LS wanted to do some 20-ish xp in Qufim, which was a mostly-LS party. Then I realized that to get Valoredge Frame, I had to get a set of Tigerfangs... which hadn't been on the AH in over a week... and needed 79 Bonecraft to make them. But someone in the LS wanted to farm Lindwurm last week, so I already had a Scorpion Shell in my MH, and I could make all the other ingredients. Luckily, someone responded to my shout this morning with less than an hour until tally time.

So now I have a shiny new brass buddy. One nice thing is that the attachments set I had on Sharpshot worked on Valoredge with no changes.

Got Red Mage level 41 last night while farming.

Dear god, I am never going to be able to play a mage job without Refresh ever again. That stuff is so damn addicting.

I turned into the Energizer Bunny and demolished my farming area.

Brutal Earring mine, and with that last 1 store tp on that earring it gives me the 11 store tp I needed for my 6 hit while wearing full haste gear, (no rajas yet but soo close)

Didnt get to try it out cause my damn router kept resetting itself.

Got claim on Charybdis late Friday night. Then, my LS continued to get claim until late Sunday night. We ended up getting 6 Joyeuses (and every single Charybdis claim) for LS folks this weekend! I wasn't even out to get claim on Friday, just ToD, but as it turns out PLD/BLU and RDM/WHM is a fairly safe duo (although slightly long). After getting the claim/kill, we never had a shortage of people willing to show up to help out and get their name on the list for the next sword.

Between Charybdis windows, we went to Gustav Tunnel and camped the O.Bow NM. It took us 8 kills, but we eventually got it for one of our RNGs.

Also, completed CoP 2-5 and am now ready to fight Diabolos!

All-in-all, it was a good weekend for me and my LS!
