Sneak will drop when you open a chest/coffer. Don't know when SE made this particular change, but I had something similar happen to me

It's been that way for as long as I can remember. And I've been playing since like 2005.

Think I've just not had too much coffer experience cuz Dancer buys all the stuff for their AF. I knew you couldn't open coffers while Invisible but I proly thought that since you can /check ???'s and other things while Sneak is up, coffers would be fair game. Guess they made latches quite noisy.

You can open the coffer with Sneak up, but it drops on success. I've done a fair bit of picking locks in Baileys on THF/DNC, and always made sure not to be too close to Ahriman ... and then there were a few times when the coffer just vanished, and I tried to do Spectral Jig but sneak was still up!

4/5 on my PLD AF. Just need to go chase Coffers in Castle Z and do the Orc fight for my AF3.

Also got a Buckler Earring on loan. I'm not sure what makes more of a difference: this or a Drone Earring but more Shield skill is always nice regardless even if it is only a loaner.

Probably Buckler, I've never seen AGI as nothing more than a placebo. But then again I'm not convinced +3 Shield Skill does all that much either, so I always just go with Attack earrings.

Won a Rank 4 Prize in the Mog Bonanza so I picked the Behemoth Hide. Now to just wait for the prices to recover.

PLD to 56 and Spirits Within gained. Shame those stupid birds won't let me use it to it's fullest potential. A PLD friend has loaned me a Gluttony Sword (A bunch of people in my LS are levelling PLD so we regularly loan out the more expensive gear to each other) according to wiki the DPS on my T.M. Espadon +1 is slightly higher but the Gluttony Sword gives more TP per hit so I'm unsure which one to go for at 57.

Also got a few invites for various EGLS's mostly from friends or people I've partied with in the past. Some have asked me to pu in an application because they want me in the shell and others have just offered a pearl outright. While I now have the time for endgame I honestly have no idea where to start with it or if I should wait until I can access Sea (will probably be a long while since I'm only on 5-2 and the CoP perma is getting torn apart by a drama queen who refuses to come help the group farm mission items) and Salvage (Finding help for ToAU missions is damn near impossible though since I can only ever find 1-2 people who are on the same mission I am on). I am actually interested in Nyzul and Einherjar but I've yet to find an EGLS or Nyzul group that operate at reasonable times in my time zone. I have found a good UK based Dynamis/Sky shell willing to help me get my city wins if I join but thier shellholder did MPK me during a swift belt run so his party could use the pop point we were camping (Fomor don't depop after losing aggro, I was the one with enough Fomor hate to pop the NM, he aggro's the fomor over to me and dies, Fomor went straight for me when they turned yellow, mass epic linkage cause my my maxed hate wiped the whole party) so I'm a bit iffy about that.

Drop your friend's Gluttony Sword, it's absolute garbage (wait, you're English . . . so, absolute rubbish, then?), and the fewer Paladins that use it the better. Also, pick up a T.M. Espadon +2, which is your best sword for a long time coming.

Oh, also, figure out how you're going to make it up to your friend dropping his Sword, because in all honesty, if he loaned it to you under the preconception of it being something valuable, he's probably not going to accept the fact that it's trash very easily.

Ditto that. Behemoth Hide for 60k was a pretty good deal for me. But there was an instant 40% price drop on Fairy, same for Khroma Ore. I'll just put my hide in storage for a while. Of course Orichalcum ingots maintained price, though they're still less than what either of the other two are selling for. And there was someone in WG shouting to buy hides at the AH price, either an idiot, or someone trying to snag a few to resell later.

Anyhow, it's been a while... I was getting tired of running out of MP in campaign, so last week I skilled up staff and got Spirit Taker, oh yeah. Now in Saruta_S I can beat up bunnies and crows for a nice MP recharge.

I got BLM to 75 yesterday, and got magic capped in a double Lv 7 Besieged today. Now I won't ever need do that again for the main 6 magic skills unless I take RDM up to at least 65. Soon I will fight Maat for +1 Inventory.

I believe it helps increase the chances of you blocking attack, if ever so slightly. It helps the most if you're trying to skill Shield up. +Parry gear is cheaper, but the most helpful because Parry is extremely difficult to skill up.

There weren't any +2 T.M. Espadon's on the AH when I dinged 52 and I don't fancy paying 100k for a net total of +1DMG and +2HP that I will never get to use because campaign zone related stat boosts don't carry over into Aht Urghan/Wings areas .

He's actually been trying to sell that thing for ages so I think he just wanted the AH space. He's at about 66-68 so he's using that funny looking Aztec sword that looks like someone ran over a badger then dipped it in brown paint to make it look more realistic.

Sigh, I want Nashira legs and feet. I'm next in line for the feet. But bleh if it absolutely amazes me I've been in my LS's limbus scene for about 7 months now and still don't have any Limbus gear, since Omega is so much easier to get to than Ultima, but I have no jobs that can use Homam.

T.M. Espadon +1 will still serve you better. Although its DPS advantage over Gluttony is small compared to the +2 version, Attack+12 will go much further for you than VIT+7.

Bastard Sword will obsolete Gluttony in 3 levels as well. No matter how you look at it, it gives worse performance at a higher level for a steeper price, with a short lifespan.

Ditto. I've leaped for joy once I could wear company sword since I've yet to camp charby on Neko. Now its Company for anything I'm gonna hit that won't atk insanely or doesn't have wtf defense where my daggers on thf hit for 0 more often and have the same damage rating as sinfender or chainsaw. Chainsaw when I'm off tanking or building enmity as 3rd tank for hnms. Sinfender anything /war off tanking(Dynamis) or anything like Khim or Cerb.

I've mostly been following your gear guide which has been extremely useful. I'm nowhere near outparsing the DDs in my parties but I am surprising them with some huge hits and massive crits (for a Paladin) and it makes keeping hate easier which in turn keeps the DDs happy because they can go for epeen damage.

The one think that puts me of that aztec chainsaw sword thingy is the -4 accuraccy. +4 Emnity is nice and all but it means jack if I can't use it to build CE. Bastard Sword looks nice but the thing is never on the AH on my server so i might have to find a crafter
