Went after Carnero again this morning (after camping the bastard 3 hours last night for no pop ><) and he popped within the first ten minutes. Katayama Ichimonji â—‹

Decided I may as well try for Lizzy since I was there and nobody else was. She popped within 10 minutes too and dropped for me. Bounding Boots â—‹

Lucky morning for my sam.

Is there some of that luck to share around? On my main, Brickshouse I am 0/76 on lizzie...

Well if you have been reading my how easy to start thread, you know the following acheivments..

Main job (mnk) now 21
Got to Jeuno
Got chocobo liscence.
Got silver moogle belt and adventurers certificate from moogle
Have only died once (though bound to be more times now)
Bastock are second on Hades (first time not bottom for a while!!!)
Outpost warps in Aragoneu and Zulkheim grabbed
Outpost warp in saratabuta grabbed (was bastoken for 1 week yey!)
Got fame to lvl 3 in bastok, lvl 2 in windurst
Got all 3 main crag crystals (mae, dem, holla)

My ls goes with a split the prophets approach which is nice so you always get something out the run. currency drops pay for the hourglass and the remaining prophets get split between the people that attended

lol I was so confused when I read that post the first time. A person who speaks by divine inspiration on behalf of a god is a prophet. If you're talking about material gains from an activity like dynamis currency that's profit. :3

Got BLM to 54.3 and got Retrace quest done (just need to pick up the scroll later today.) Going to wait to get lvl 55 till I finish AF quests and then probably take it to 60 before going back to leveling THF to 75 (50 right now).

I'm just glad the legends about Gustav xp were true.

Got Hecatomb feet abjuration, and just bought the cursed item (damn expensive...), also got Crimson hand abjuration and its cursed item. Going to get them made right now.

Got my Etoile Tiara (DNC - relic head) on a chance run to pick up Clear from Dyna-Bastok that my buddy got me into. I really liked the pacing this LS set and we totally pwn'd the zone. They aren't too great at making sure everyone knows that the MA has gone down and another has taken over but it never caused any stirs. Several bad pulls we came out of with unexpectedly few deaths (1-2). Makes me pretty sure that my first Dyna LS broke cuz of the update mishap with enfeebling spells... they were blaming incompetence but it was really that they weren't up on the snafooo about {sleep} getting uber-gimpt.

Also finally got my "townie/gimp gear" fully situated. Bought the Lvl 61 Carapace body and hands (still lookin for the helm) cuz I like the look alot and it goes really well with my Gobbie Coif. It even has practical application for both my Dnc and Sam in emergent situations with the defensive bonus "latent effect"... I loved the reactions from party members /check'n me before we'd start ... like I'd wear that set-up for Bauflau Thicket Birds, omg

Finally finished DRK subjob for RDM. My LS finally convinced me to stop being gimp. So I took about two weeks off of ls activities and did it. Solo'd about 80% of the exp.

Also generated random numbers (using /dev/random) for Bonanza, and bought them on my Sandy mule (my Bastok mule may have pulled in a quarter of a million gil, but she's still less than a month old.) Oh yeah, and I took my Bastok mule to get the Sarutabaruta OP. (I'm still a little miffed that I missed out on Ronfaure back when she was new, but so it goes.)

I still need to switch nations sometime this week to get the Bastok->Saruta OP warp for my main.

Totally dude... we merely chisel them away while remaining invulnerable. To do a bit more dmg you could try using a sword in your off-hand. The crappy rating didn't make that big of a accuracy difference to me until I was in my 60's. Also you could try to get a DD duo buddy. My buddy was lvling Drg at the time and it helped speed things up a bit. You proly were already planning this but at 30, /thf and lvl at the leach beaches. I lvl'd there for a while and earned a lot of gil even with the nerfing of blood. Though I hate those leech's TP Drainkiss.

***Accomplishments:

CoP 8.2 finished and we also acquired the map of that {sea} tower place along the way. Can't remember the name of it... All the {sea} names are worse to memorize than any others SE has brought my way so far. Got a limit point along the way, skilled up on evasion and parry a bit, and almost capped my sword... gotta be at like 209.7-209.9 at this point and it's been a while but I'm pretty sure it caps at 210.

{edit} - I was mistaken with 8.3... I got 8.2 last night. They're so confussledizing!!!
