I suck at killing pets, but if the xp is good enough I'll try to learn how to do it. <_<;

While most of the rest of the server was experiencing the Mog Tablet Madness, I got BLM to 64 in some obscure corner of Vunkerl_S. It was good until the WHM had to go AFK for a while. (yes, the WHM was burning too, with Flash pulls and Afflatus Misery + Holy for decent damage, and Raise II as well) The rest will have to be saved for a peeve post.

Afterward I tried to help the other BLM get his AF hat, but it was late, and he obviously didn't have wiki in front of him, and he didn't manafont on the ???. So naturally, after running the 20-minute rat maze twice, the NM wouldn't pop. We're going to try it again today.

Got {Evisceration} last night !!! Hurray !!! I've always loved that animation.

Made Tenzen our {Bio}tch last night for CoP 7.4 and Al'Taieu access ... after a few unsuccessful tries cuz we were just a little too light in the DD realm we made two parties DD heavy... each had 2 SAMs + MNK and my group had DRK, BRD, and me (DNC) ... it was simply a joke after the MNK 2hrs and then the SAMs start skillchaining... It was less than a minute into the actual fight. I hadn't even gotten to Reverse Flourish a 2nd time and still had under 60TP. Swear the SAM's skillchaining just kept going when the CS started and his HP just kept depleting so fast I thought he'd simply die.

So then... upon my first 50 steps of my newly acquired romping grounds, I was aggro'd by our group's first UFO. One of the purdiest {death}s I've ever had.

So, I started playing FFXI again. Randomly decided I want to get every job but Summoner to at least 40. Ninja being the exception, that will stop at 37 so I don't need to worry about Utsusemi: Ni until I have another job at 74.

I had Ninja at 20 already, so I geared up and started seeking for a party in Jeuno. I get an invite, head to Qufim to accept, and see this:




So I am like wtf is going on here, never been invited to a burn party before so I am wondering what the hell they want me to do.

Fast forward about 30 minutes:




I officially enjoy leeching off of a burn party that just needs someone to sync to.

But they fired me when I got to 24 D: It was still a free ride from 20-24 in a very short time. Seems like this particular spot is popular for level sync BLM burning, but I am just back into the game after a year or so, so this is kind of new and awesome to me.

Yeah, that shit is broken as hell but fun. Just voke the mob let them destroy it, major xp, rinse and repeat.

Nice. I did the same thing on Paladin, except I don't have WAR leveled, so it was more like "Blind, then watch all heck break loose." Still just as fun and great exp.
