Tonight's accomplishment:

I sleep/Freezed mobs for about an hour and got 2k xp! (Plus FoV bonuses)

It was crappy xp but it helped me a lot to polish my macros because it seems like they were a huge mess before.

Also worth noting is that I've decided to give Treasures and Tribulations a try. Because considering my UO luck... playing Russian Rulette doesn't seem like such a bad idea. Yay. /shrug

And now it's time to wean yourself from that pitiful FoV xp. Levels 50-60 are the most awesome time to solo BLM. The Pso'Xja camp in particular is super awesome, when you can get solo chain #5 with a ring on. I went from 49 to 52 in a single day here:

My only regret is not Level Sync duoing more. A second BLM means someone else to sleep accidents, and someone else to get the remaining slivers of health when a nuke fails to one-shot. And with the right separation in levels, you can use good camps longer.

I've done so many Up In Arms runs to try and get my K Club it's just not been funny. A PLD+MNK+WHM trio wipes the floor with that BCNM so it's not as if finding help for it is hard. It's just nobody ever wants to do it because it's either get a K Club or 10k's worth of junk + -60 Seals

I know someone who did the Russian Roulette thing and got his Sorcerer's Ring from it so I guess it could be worth it.

Would you kill me if I said that there are enough people levelling BLM in my LS to make a full manaburn party and enough BLMs left over for reps . Same with DRGs and Wyvernburns too. It's at the point where we don't bother waiting for tanks and just make a DRG sit there and occasionally voke while the BLMs nuke the mobs .

I swear that BLM and DRG are the flavour of the month jobs on this server because nearly everyone who is seeking is levelling one of those two jobs so getting party invites on BLM has been really easy. I regularly get /tells off other BLMs looking for a rep when I'm trying to log off to go to bed

There's something to be said for jobs that can solo mobs highly effectively while looking for a PT.

Oh, and for BLM, I LOVED the Gustav Tunnel camps to about 53-54 ... but save some trouble and do a /sea first.

Awesome, how much xp/hr can I get doing that?

Doing FoV with my npc I get 5k+ an hour* killing ep-dc with xp band, with an extra 830 if I can do a 3 FoV combo. (Although I need to change xp camps now that mobs became too low in Altepa)

(Edit > Not counting sellable drops.)

At one point, I had an abundance of seals and decided to spend them in this fashion. In 10 runs, I picked wrong 3 times, got 2x minstrels, 1xsorcerer's, and 2x astral rings from the crate. The other times were junk.

Now, I don't ever want to do that BCNM again because probability says that I won't see any good runs for a loooooooooong time.

In the 50-60 range, killing pets tends to be along the lines of standing up, casting a spell, POSSIBLY casting a second spell, and watching it die. In particular, Freeze and Aquilo's Staff let you just one-shot any pet you can target in Gustav, and there's a spot that you can simply stand-cast-rest and wait on repop. The biggest problem I had there was the goblin wandering out of range...

Helped a couple of friends out with Bastok 6-1. WHM/NIN tank FTW

Finally got Stun for my BLM. That scroll is never on the AH

Paladin 1-11. It was pretty fun to solo that job and only RNG burned through 1-10 faster. I mostly want to level COR but I've mainly been focusing on BLM and PLD (levelling WAR to 37 was part of it) since having those jobs levelled will benefit my LS more in events.

Got a couple of "lol I died" moments while helping Andrzej farm his Enthunder II scroll. The most memorable one of them being aggroing Manipulator out of a mix of curiosity, boredom waiting for Andrzej and Kyleet to get to me and "for the lulz" only to find out that he is NOT a total pushover like his cousins in Ro'Meave.

I did also get my Temple of Uggy map from that trip too . That key had been sitting in my MH since September too.
