New boots!



Really happy these dropped, been waiting through several months of Omega only dropping head and legs every time...now I don't have to worry about my Utsusemi macros leaving in Dusk Feet after I hit them, was kind of a pain when kiting.

Got N.Head off of Odin today. WAR still 69. Gonna finish it now, think I can borrow some gear until I can farm up some gil and pay back a few people.

Pretty sure I won't be seeing any of those ever I have enough to upgrade to a Hauberk+1 at the moment but I'm trying to hold out for a Cuchu Mantle first. I may just break down and buy an N.Head from one of the larger shells here, I think I can pick the abjuration up for 3m-ish, but trying to stick to things I can resell for now in case Macha's Coat drops and I have to come up with another 9 ingots in a hurry.

Still Paladin 36, but I finally finished off that dang Dedication effect with the last crawler in my FoV assignment. At less than 4k tnl, I realize that is merely an FoV-enhanced Empress Band away from being completed for the time being. And so, for the sake of actually getting the other three charges I have remaining from last year done and over with, I decide to switch over to my White Mage a little earlier than originally planned, and all I can say is this:

HOLY &%$# I HAD THOUGHT MY PALADIN GEAR NEEDED UPGRADING.

Although, considering my barely-living wallet (sure to be beaten to a pulp again on new -na and bar-ra spells), and the fact that it's White Mage, I suppose I don't have much choice in the matter other than to try and get my 18k exp with what I have.



Also, on another note, successfully avoided spending the 20k I was specifically saving on the Mog Bonanza until now, the Mog Bonanza. I now hold 10 Marbles in Storage. Part of me feels good about this year, but the rest of me knows that I'll take my Behemoth Statue and I'll like it, dangit (although, some of me thinks that is why that part of me feels good about this year, anyway).

Cure Cast Merits to 3/5 thanks to fooling around with FoV
Club up to 240 thanks to fooling around in FoV

Even if my NIN subjob is underlevelled WHM/NIN is a LOT of fun for duoing skill ups and WS points.

White Mage 22 and only 1 more charge before I can finally kiss last year's Anniversary ring {Good bye.} My priorities have sort of become "screw upgrading any and all gear until I can get a new Anniversary ring," with a little bit of "after I get that ring I should probably look in to doing the other part of this Campaign event."

I've been keeping my spells up to date, tho.

BLM 61 and 62. And thanks to someone showing up just as I was about to cap out the camp (pets going Decent Challenge), I ended up with 8k extra xp while waiting for Besieged to start.

Blue mage 65 last night and got my last blue mage Af piece, the soulflayer NM for the helm was a pussy cat. When I joined the party we had 6 blues 59-66, every one job changed and we went with 5 75 jobs and a 66 blu that didnt change (prob trying to leech the helm and mind blast) didnt even need to 2hr it went down so fast, total overkill.

Finally got BLM50 and Freeze, just 5 more till Retrace.


Also had plenty of successful UO runs, nobody died and we didn't get a thing. Yipee! Tools are more expensive than what I got! \(^-^)/

... well ... biggest accomplishment is really just getting FFxi entirely loaded on a new 360 after a RRoD... OMG what a pain in the ass. Then after I finally get it all re-installed (POL + FFxi + expansions) I find that my macros, map markers, and settings are all gone. I did not know I could save settings to my server with LB + Left Stick... so I re-created DNC and SAM macros on Saturday morning. Haven't even gotten to the other jobs I have... proly won't for a long time...

Level'd SAM to 62 this weekend and got my AF feet. And partied for the first time old skool in Bibiki Bay. All the WG areas were full so we went there... we woulda done better with a PLD but all DD/Nin was working pretty well. Dangerous but pretty decent experience.

Broke my latent on my Dagger of Trials as well...

I'd been looking for a while and never found one and I'd been wanting one very badly after seeing people with em... I bought my first piece of expensive gimp gear ... Goblin Coif FTW !!! Just happened to notice some lil taru crafting some high-end furniture late last night while I was at Sandy AH bout ready to log and /check'd his bazaar. He had all the beastmen hats for 180k but I got him down to what I had.. bout 150k. Yay ... I'm totally broke with bunches of stuff on AH that people have been undercutting .. BUT I got me mah gobby head... /hurray.
