Yeah I expect it to be a side pastime for me. Something I'll do while camping Fafnir or something (28 afk minutes in FFXI ... orz), and as for raiding and community stuff, that's why I joined the guild with the people from my linkshell, so I can be assured that I'll mostly be around people who are competent. Granted, there's always pick up groups, and they suck balls, but pick ups piss me off in FFXI too so I don't expect that to be too big of a problem.

I did notice that the trade channel is often filled with retardation as much as Whitegate, so it felt like home. XD

Yar. Should see how annoying Ally on PvE are in trade at times. Horde not that much better either. So big question PvP, RP or PvE? And which is fun to repeat for lulz Deadmines or Shadowfang?

I have been collecting items for my Opo-Opo crown. Working on the ones I can get solo at the moment, and doing ok for myself.

I went to get the Ten of Coins card the other day, because I didn't feel like paying 50k for an item that drops from an easy to kill mob. So I went out to the Horototo Ruins and started killing tens. I was there for over two hours, killing every Ten that popped, and yet I never got the Coins card. Then a THF showed up who is apparently the one charging 50k for them on the AH and he offered to let me lot on it for 30k if he could get the drop. But then we didn't. And then we didn't again. And then finally we did, but I couldn't lot.

Why?

Because I already had one in my inventory. It dropped on my very first kill, but I didn't notice.

There isn't enough /facepalm for how I felt after that.

well my Latest achievment was yesterday taking my enfeebling magic skill from 80 to 205 (capped for lv 62 blm) I was a stupid fool a few months back and overused lev-sync. But not soloing the pets in Bibiki is a breeze, getting a chain of 5+ and exp of 600+ per mob

My best achivement was a few days ago wen i was a lv 33 smn duoing with a 75 rdm/nin. We soloed Titan, well i say we, it was all his doing really, i just wanted the whisper, as im trying to get them for the fenrir battle now. I was the smn to save the rdm any problems getting to the cloister really as my 62 blm wud have slowed him down. Rite near the end of the battle i got bored, and because i was gonna log out after the battle i thought wot the heck, ill pop Astral flow. I brought out garuda and 2hr's titan, for 300 damage, which i thought was quite gud considering the difference in lvs. It was also the final blow which made me smile just that bit more.

Over the past couple of weeks...

Hit 63 on PLD and did Limit Break 4. (Such a relief after the last 3!)
Got Parade Gorgets for me and a DRK friend.
Leveled WHM to 37, which I didn't really plan on doing, but LS kept needing a healer, so...
First BCNM run--Carapace Combatants with cloverest and my gf. Wyvern Earring dropped on our first try.

Got RDM from 15 to 17 today, and went back to AFK selling Imperial Silvers.

Because I already had one in my inventory. It dropped on my very first kill, but I didn't notice.

Maybe not an accomplishment, but something I'm really happy about: my college roommate started playing a few days ago, along with two of her friends (who had played in the past and whose characters have subjobs), and they happen to be on my server. Sweet! Of course, my former roommate would join as WAR the day after I sold my level 1 and level 10 melee gear. Ha. Though my former roommate was one of my very best friends 10 years ago, I haven't kept up with her as well as I could have except on Facebook and stuff, so it's so awesome that we now have a reason to talk and game together a few times a week. Now I've got my awesome friends from work, a linkshell with more than two people, and an old friend (and her friends) to have fun with. /hurray

Wonder Kaftan getaru. My gear isn't as updated as I would like it to be, but it's close enough now.

Next up: burn through my 4 remaining Anniversary ring charges by the 7th anniversary. It should get me to Paladin 37 quick, fast, and in a hurry, and I'm pretty sure I should have at least one of those charges left to carry over in to White Mage by the time that happens.
