Managed to get Bio III to 4th lvl (1.5 merits to cap) and BLM to 45. Hopefully next week I'll be able to get BLM to 50 and finish Sword merits.

Got blue from 55-59 in the last couple of days. Just the helm to go an I can look pimp in my af

Teamed up with another blu and a smn friend and went spell hunting in riverine site B01. 3 hours later I managed to get Jettatura and radiant breath, my fellow blu got Jettatura on the 3rd hyppograph but failed to get RB even after 3 hours of hunting.

Next day went spell hunting solo and got death scissors, magic fruit, eyes on me. only another 30+ spells to go lol, breaking weapons on a 75 quitrub for a chance to learn spinal cleave is a joke.

Also went to besieged and got blue magic to 183 before xbox freeze.

Yeah, it was awesome. We just went all out on it.. Poor thing didn't last half the time it usually does.

An accidental Ix'DRK kill would involve Ix'DRK popping. At least once. Ever. We spent a total of around 20 hours on it in a few 3-5 hour sessions our last Sea block and nothing, same for Ix'DRG.

I didn't notice until after I got it that it was actually All Jobs and not PLD only, which makes room for some RDM/PLD lulz...but +50 damage, doesn't seem that it adds extra hate further than what the extra damage gives, but with Valor Gauntlets I'm up to 72~ damage which is a pretty decent chunk, I think I'm going to splurge on a Knightly Earring as soon as one goes on sale to pump it up a tad bit more.

The Banish enhancement as far as I know is similar to Cleric's Mitts, where it enhances the cut in damage resistance for slashing/piercing on Skeletons/Ghosts, what I'd be really curious to see is if the effects from those two items stack. There's some testing on the Banish end here if you're interested.

I swear once we had a glitch in Sea because we killed IxDrg and then it popped again right after that one. Then we were going to leave but one of the blms said "wouldn't it be funny if it popped again?" and he proceeded to clear a room and it POPPED AGAIN. It's never happened since but we wished we had gotten it on Fraps because it was insane.

We did get one to pop tonight so it does exist!

I swear once we had a glitch in Sea because we killed IxDrg and then it popped again right after that one. Then we were going to leave but one of the blms said "wouldn't it be funny if it popped again?" and he proceeded to clear a room and it POPPED AGAIN. DRG does that sometimes. We killed the second one so fast one time that we still had the first Deed in the pool, and had two deeds in the treasure pool. Was funny stuff.

Someone then posted it in the BG drop thread (this was a while back) and of course, someone believed that we got two off the same Ix'Aern. lol.

Hmm, nothing new FFXI wise to report. Taking a bit of a break from it, at least until CK and I hit 60 in WoW, which is when we can break off a bit and take our time leveling. Right now it's just grind grind grind, but I am having a lot of fun and a lot of my friends from Excellence are in the guild.

So can a WoW accomplishment count today? (Just this once!) I got my first mount! See:

Hunting again Light of Penance dimentional death and Frenetic ripmine.

Delevelled from 59 tho cause the silly imp blasted my 75 mnk helper with a tier 3 nuke before i could get over and stun it which put her hp into the yellow, skeleton guard charged over and started hitting her. Its our 4th imp and none of them had gone well so I was like well just try that one and leave it. between spamming sickle slash to break the horn and magic fruit to keep me and her alive it got a bit hectic.

Stupid skele starts with the stonega III, and i see the imp did Frenetic rip, stuned the ass out of the skele and she killed the imp, woot barsha learns Frenetic rip. then the skele killed up both boo. but stilll all good.
