To note I ran out of MP extremely quickly in the final ACP battle. I don't think I ever saw the PLD above orange health.

Finally got Fenrir last night. It was a fun fight which wasn't as tough as I had feared.

Also beat up on a bunch of seed mandragoras. Having wave after wave if impossibly weak foes come running right at you for to be killed by the most basic spells/abilities was strangely pleasing. Opened up with Earth crusher for 1.1k damage to the first wave. Then, used a combination of banishgas and -ga spells from /BLM to make short work of the remaining waves. I actually felt kind of bad for the last lonely seed mandragora which came at me all by it's lonesome, for it was met with a mighty Holy ^^

If I could, I'd spend all day killin' seed mandragoras for 500 xp ^^

and on the RL side, finally getting over the Salmonellosis that's been kicking my ass up and down the hall for the last week.

I didn't figure people were losing the final ACP battle so consistently. I'll have to ask my friend Zigirus about that strategy he came up after he lost, which apparently worked.

The strat used by my group worked wonders: SAM/RNG, RNG/NIN, SAM/RNG, PLD/WAR, WHM/SCH, RDM/DRK

The we all opened up with our two hours first and foremost, since Seed of Nihility wipes them, while the pld tanked the crystal and the whm healed him. the rdm focused on stunning as often as possible. Positioning is also key, only the pld should leave the staircase, all other jobs should stay on the stairs with their backs against the wall to stay out of -aga casting range. We went 4/5 with that strat, only loss we had was cuz the pld got charmed lol

After all of the tears shed over the loss of the ACP final battle this morning I have some great news. I got into another group and we won and with 7 minutes to spare . I promised Andrzej screenshots so here are the ones I took:

Got my satchel a few days ago. Bought Gobbie Bag VIII with the proceeds from getting Cooking to 56, then proceeded to take Cooking to 60.

Mostly, though, BLU is now 40. Subjobs/maybeBCNMjobs are (for now) Done. Onward to DRG at last! /dancedancedance

Finally capped Club skill at 256 in Besieged. I thought I was 255.8 until after it was over, but I was really annoyed that I was having so much trouble hitting anything in there. And to top it all off, Level 8 Mamool Ja Savages, and WE FREAKING KILLED GULOOL JA JA! Usually the 1 hour timer hits before we have a chance to finish. So anyhow, that just leaves Staff, Shield, and lolThrowing still not capped on WHM.

And right before that, I was beating on Robber Crabs down in Kuftal. Got my Staff skill from 168 to 183.8 in about 3 or 4 hours. And then I noticed that I have to reach my 230 cap to get the last regular WS.

Also finally got the stupid Ugl. Coffer Key after a couple of hours with /THF. At which point I was unable to find the stupid coffer anywhere in the accessible pop points. Thank you SE for putting two pop points behind a nasty guardian mob, one behind a door that requires a one-use key, and another behind a door that requires TWO one-use keys. So still no map. But I have hope that I'll find it eventually if I keep going back regularly. But then I got the Zhaylom and Alzadaal maps while getting my AU quests to #12, so I'm happy that at least I got some new maps.

Got thief from 31 to 33, and then got my marksmanship from ~24 to 44 by shooting stuff to do Valkurm FoV pages, and +7 inventory by using up all my bullets and bolts.
