I just run away from shit now that I have gaiters. Only a few things I can't outrun at this point, like sharks in sea. So funny when I aggroed a UFO and then was like ... where the hell did it go?

Yeah, lost it cause of movement speed. WIN!

Sometimes if I aggro the Imp on the way to or from Talacca, I just throw on an Earth Staff and keep going. If on DRG I might engage and Super Jump if I don't feel like getting hit by it anymore. Most of the time I don't care, even when all the undead are on me at night.

Well if I know I can't outrun the mob or if I have to activate a CS or talk to an NPC to leave the area (running into staging points or getting a tele from Campaign Atbiters or trying to run through a teleporter in Sky) then I'll be using my trusy Repose macro (Celerity + AF legs and whatever other +Divine Magic gear I can find +Repose) which usially sleeps most IT mobs with only really the sleep resistant mobs that quickly or don't sleep at all. In that case there is always "Celerity + Spam the hell out of the first teleport spell you select and pray that you don't get critted while casting."

Though if it is possible to sprint for the zoneline grabbing my earth staff and maybe throwing up a Solstice boosted Cure for the 30 sec stoneskin then I guess that works but it's a lot less fun >.>

Didn't die once in Dynamis Xarcabard. This is a first, I think.

Just the opposite for me, I died so much is Dynamis Windy that I lost 15k exp. We did a really odd route with a lot of close quarters fighting and being a sleeper in close quarters with aoe mobs and statues......ya.........not fun.....not fun at all....

My accomplishment is not going ballistic over it. LOL

Made it to level 52 on Beast.

Got my AF feet then warped to bastok and got the quest for Gaudy Harness. He wanted Banded Mail and Wool Hose. There were none on AH so I had to shout for 50+ crafters (goldsmithing and Clothcraft). It cost me 45k to have both of them made. -.-

Getting from 50-52 I realized the accuracy of my pets are lacking. I tried for 5 hours to get the +acc gear from the casket but nothing. I was 3/14 on the brown caskets. I am always so close but I rarely get the brown caskets to open if they have 4 or less tries to open them.

Finally got Black Halo. Two others from the LS helped me, and we made a perfect team. THF/NIN for evatank+DD, WHM/NIN (me) for DD+heal+buff, RDM for debuff+refresh+nuke. It was harder to clear out the two Weapons nearby in the hallway, but they were a good warm-up.

And I finally got the fifth fish I needed for Rat Race. But the stupid ratface still wouldn't give me the quest. Then I realized I still had a final cutscene with Salaheem that I needed to do. (I still would've been blocked, though.)

Also got BST to 35. Now I want to find some place to try it the "right" way instead of FoV + EM/DC mobs, if only to see what I can do.

I am always so close but I rarely get the brown caskets to open if they have 4 or less tries to open them.

4-guess caskets are always a problem, but here's something that might make it a little easier for you:

I really wanted to be able to post up screenshots of my awesome WHM hauby augmented Royal Redingote. I found a solid group trying to finish off ACP and so I joined them. We got to the top of the tower and we needed a 6th guy so we invited a DRG who took nearly a full hour getting here.

It was 6:30am when he got here and I had stayed up for the entire night to help this group so I was a little disgruntled when he finally got here but still in rather high spirits as we had a sound strategy that according to wiki would work.

Instead we died horribly, painfully and very quickly. Boss opened up with the recast timer reset move which completely destroyed the PLD's hate generation and he got charmed not too long after that. So I had to repose the PLD, the MNK and RNG got drawn in and beaten to death by the MNK's doppelgängers while the DRG died in a hail of AoE. I woke the PLD and he ran it to try and regain hate before the MNK and RNG died but it was too late as the RDM's doppelgänger rushed forth and beat herself and I to death with the PLD dying to a Thundaga III shortly thereafter.

We tried to RR and recover from the wipe but we simply couldn't. The RDM was in aggro range and so each one of us was in turn drawn in and killed by our doppelgängers and the demon seed while we all remained pretty powerless to stop it.

So my latest achievement is staying up for a little under 24 hours with nothing to show for it but a Carapace Gorget with +4 Attack, +6 Ranged Attack and +2 Store TP that none of my jobs can equip and will probably just take up space until I start levelling COR again

I doubt I'll be able to do the run again any time soon. My CoP group is doing Ouryu on Saturday night and the group I was with earlier will probably not be on while I'm awake. College starts up again on sunday so I'll be back to weekends and odd Monday/Tuesday nights onry until early July so I have no idea when I can do this run again

I did a couple of Nyzul 80 runs, and we had Hydra both times. It didn't last long (not like the time we ended up against Cerberus and it spammed that spikes+SS move) and not only did I get my floor 80 clear, I now have a Goliard Saio!

I wonder do the dopplegangers copy stats. If they do, I can finally use my Sperlunking hat and stumbling sandles...well when I get the expansion.

Well for me, the first time, our setup was retarded.

The second time, my game crashed about four times during the battle, though the setup was solid and the tank was better.

The third time, we won, even with my game crashing at 3%

Really, setup is more important than people make it out to be for this one. No, you can NOT have a RDM main heal this battle. Trust me! You can have a SCH though, they're fine. BRD is also fine, in place of RDM, as long as they Pianissimo the PLD, due to where the PLD is standing and making it difficult to sing songs without ending up in range. Certain DDs will also not be very useful here, but can be made to work if you are smart. Setup and strategy is big for this battle, because the crystal doesn't fuck around. The doppelgangers are weak though. Creepy as hell to see yourself coming after yourself.
