Solved the problems I was having with my CoP 3-3

Won the Diabolos fight on my first try thanks to the awesome DRK we had who stunned every single nightmare and sleepga

WAR up to 26

I also have a pile of meds that I need to get rid of but can't store because my DB is clogged up as well as all of my inventory. I guess that is the bad thing about going 1-0 on a BCNM you have heard so many horror stories about.

Heh, yes, I know it's hard to keep DiV and BG seperate, but it was a fun fight. The body piece knocked off a whole 2 seconds from my Utsu Ni cast in my normal tanking setup. It's awesome. I love it.

Well we wiped today ... setup was retarded. RNG RNG COR BLU RDM/DRK (me) PLD. I ran out of MP way too quickly stunning -ga and keeping Refresh up on 3 people, Hasting 2 people (myself and the PLD), and curing everyone.

No one believes me when I say that WHM cures a lot more efficiently. It really does!

So if you want to somehow change this into an accomplishment, I proved to some people that RDM is not the most amazing of jobs at everything.

Yar, RDM/DRK is really only useful as a stunner and back up healer in that fight. I failed the first run because we went with a SMN as main heal instead of WHM, and we just died horribly.

Second through fourth runs were all wins because we changed the setup to include a WHM as main heal. Holy crap does WHM main heal a lot more effectively than a SMN and RDM.

Runs two and three I went on COR/RNG and the set up was RNG/NIN, SAM/RNG, WHM/SCH, PLD/RDM, and RDM/DRK. We had two WHMs to get thru the fight, so that's why we went thru two times then. The fourth fight, I went PLD/WAR (real easy to hold hate, and I have a full MDB/-dmg taken setup, so /RDM really isn't nessesary) while the rest of the setup was the same, except we took a SMN/WHM (Darkhaund) and THF/NIN along instead of my COR and the SAM. Still won (and took less damage overall with my gear and WHM main heal).

It's a fun fight once you get it down. Keep at it Aks!

Yeah, we were gonna go again right away but the PLD got pissed (he wasn't actually in need of it, but helping out) and KV popped all at once. So we are gonna find another PLD to come with, and I'm coming WHM. I don't care what anyone else says, I'm coming WHM. There's a reason I don't play RDM in fights like this, and it's because I know my WHM is superior. And with WHM, I can at least give the PLD some MP. Hell, even WHM/DRK would have been better for me, lol.

I really missed WHM for this fight. No Regen 2/3, no Cure V, no Light Arts, no Cure Potency +27%, No Devotion. I have a much better MP rest set on WHM than on RDM, and just overall would have been more comfortable main healing on WHM. For minor shit I don't mind RDM at all, it's fine, but seriously. Cure IV on RDM does about ... 350-400ish (don't reallly remember), and on WHM I do 500+.

It amazes me how many people still think RDM can hold the world on their shoulders.

Other fun tidbit about RDM: Kiting KV sucks now. Thanks for the debuff duration nerfs, SE.

BLU to 34 and SAM Iron Anvil'd to 40. And a much larger crafting blitz than I usually do, but it was mostly to make moneys and guild points and clear out inventory, so cooking and alchemy only got one more level each. But now it's Carbonara time. Huzzah!

More like BLU to 37 and Yagudo Drink time. I love when I end up with unexpected time to play.

I also had my first FFXI dream ever.

It had Feba in it.
