Just beat the old man. ^.^` I had more trouble actually getting the Dark Knight's Testimony than the fight. Didn't help that I screwed up and lost the first fight so I had to go out and get ANOTHER test. -,-' Second fight was a cakewalk, though. I didn't even get to use my Icarus Wing. ^.^ Then I had to quick log out and rush to work. ^.~

Took DRG from 16-23... discovered the wonders of the Sand'Oria >>>> Carpenter's Landing entrance. I never knew.

Finally got some time to play the game:

Learned Shellra V or my WHM (Though do I really have to waste 3 Merit Points on Protectra V?)
Gained Steelknight Emblem (Took long enough XD)
Got COR to 30 (Loving my new shiny Mars' Hexagun)
Divine Might victory (Yay for a Suppanomimi that I will probably only ever use if I feel like going WHM/NIN in Campaign)

Did my first Promy last night (Holla) with success. We died once on the boss, then easily won the second time. Blink-tanking it proved to be a little tough, but it was fun. Hopefully the other two aren't too bad^^

I defeated Garuda on first try with my level 20 SMN yesterday, which really surprises me. I heard so much scary stories about Garuda being the hardest of all Avatars, and I had already lost to Ifrit 5 times before. I literally shit my pants thinking about Garuda, but that was the easiest fight so far (just Shiva is missing).

Congrats! Prommy Holla is definitely the hardest one. My records are something like:

Holla: 2-12
Dem: 5-0
Mea: 4-4
Vazhl: 0-0 (Not that far into CoP yet. Still need to find help for the Mammets fight because nobody in my LS wants to kite for that fight or are willing to try out the Supertank strategy.)

Dem is by far the easiest. I trio'd it with no real problems (3SMNs, anima uses at 100%, 60% and 20% HP, the person with the highest Astral Flow recast timer kites if an anima wears off to stop it from spitting out babies). The only challenge was killing the third MR on the way up with just 3 SMNs. It's possible to duo Dem but I've never tried it and I haven't found anyone willing to try it out yet XD. Honestly Dem is easy and it's the only Prommy that can be reliably beaten with a full party without the use of anima.

Mea is a pain if you let hate bounce so I would really recommend going in with a PLD or WAR tanking. And keep your anima up. Carousel can destroy your entire backline very, very quickly so keeping hate with the tank is the most important thing for that fight. Ive seen Mea's NM use Carousel the second the anima on it wore causing half of the frontline to die too.

HAHA I just got promy holla done as well! And that bring my total for the prommies to this....

Yeah bad runs on Holla and everytime we'd get him down to like 5% and our tank would die or SMN DC and we'd lose lol.

But also got RDM to 70 and am in the process of capping skills to go beat Maat. Wish me Luck! lol
