Saw Jormy pop last night. I wasn't camping it but I did get to see a BLM friend get maimed by it. We didn't know the ToD and we were around the area it usually pops. He more or less popped and ate the BLM I was travelling with.

I'm going to send someone to maim you now and I'm not going to tell them when to stop

My willpower is low and there isn't really anything useful a COR can use as a head piece until the Empy Hairpin anyway . It's not as if I roleplayed acting like a pirate I just did the obligatory Pirates of the Caribbean quote to an LS member.

I dunno know what he was thinking but as soon as my screen started shaking and I saw him getting hit by that thing in the chatlog I was running as fast as my WHM legs would carry me. I've seen that thing take out a group of 20 75's so I'm not going to stick around for long when it's just me and a BLM

Last Night's Accomplishments:

CoP 2-3 fight done. (Now I have to fight those Mammets and the people in my LS who need the fight are notorious for being too lazy to bring meds and items to BCNMs )

COR from 10-18. (I can start using bullets in 4 levels and I don't know anyone with Goldsmithing levelled to craft them for me so I guess it's fishing time.) RNG is still at 30 but I'd like to get COR to 30 and the Noct Doublet so I don't have to store multiple sets of gear. Storing gear for WHM, SMN, BLM, SCH, BLU, COR and RNG is kinda tricky even with maxed MS/ML space.

The party I was in that got my COR to 18 was fun. Double COR Party = 4 rolls at once + happy party members.

SMN is a lazy job anyway. Stand up, summon, do a BP, release, rest for 45 seconds, repeat. I couldn't stand leveling it.

Oi, its annoying when they want you to cure too ~.~ Any time I do take a pty, ls or friends list, I'd always end up down to 20% mp after the 3rd mob. Sole reason why I started my soloing guide.
Though the ls pty I got for 60 was okish. sch, dnc, pld, smn, drk, sam. Go go distortion, sch and me mb with blizz 2 on dragonflies in rolan [s]. Was actually good, considering the dnc is made of phail, saying covering all of healing duties with me 'support cure'. Yay for no mp!
~.~ Now if i can only skill up smn magic and see if hellmines are still good at 60 to exp off of.

Accomplishment: Had an Xbox party of 8 of us playing FFXI. As some of the guys pointed out, its easier to scream for a weaponskill and cures compared to typing for one.

Decomplishment: De-leveled THF from 34 to 33 5 times in one day. Raped by Goblin Smithys solo at 34. Enough said.

Accomplishment: I'm slowly de-gimping my combat skills. Shield is going up awesome thanks to MNK mandrags. But 4 more levels until I can put my THF away and start leveling something else.

Like I am going to actually spend the time/gil to gear Summoner. I mean, I might grab random stuff that comes along, but I'm never going to play Summoner for any kind of event.

Made it a full Dynamis-Beaucedine run with my normal workload...and managed to not die once. I think it's only the second time ever I've not died through a run...I actually profited XP from an auto-sorted scroll, lol.

This is exactly why I couldn't stand the voice chat on Phantasy Star Universe and one of the reasons I quit the game. The game has pop up emotes and I would macro an angry face pop up saying "I'm an Acrotecher not a wet nurse" every time someone would scream for a cure when I was too busy trying to debuff the mobs they just aggro'd (Acrotechers are PSU's equivalent of a RDM and buffs/debuffs on that game were stupidly overpowered at high levels). It didn't help that melee jobs on that game tended to die horribally in every boss fight anyway due to either the insane AoE range of some moves and that game having just about every boss deal trample damage to anyone who stands in it's path. Cures on that game only worked if you were standing right next to the target so half of the time it was usually easier to let them melees die then kite the mobs out of the way to raise them.
