Ya it is amazing how easy it is to solo in the lower levels now. Thats why I get a bit short with people when they whine about it now. LOL

The question, of course, is when ... since Mythic weapons were introduced, shouting for Assaults seems to have taken a real nosedive.

Naw, actually that's why I'm not, because every assault I've done has been a pick up group. I've only failed a few runs, but still, even the difficult ones (couple of those FL ones) were done in pick up groups so I guess I've actually been lucky in that respect. For a change.

Yeah, we've only failed one of the assault runs (the one where you need to get the appakalu's to follow you back to the start point by /bow and /welcome) until we got to these F'ers... But hopefully next week I'll be posting in this thread about it!!!

Get used to that with CoP. There will be a lot of drama and disappointment

My only glimmer of hope is the LS leaders who helped get through 2.3 did not do the 2.5 portion at all cuz it was too late for their early RL jobs... so hopefully they make the run when I'm on... tho they are East coasters and I'm a West coaster and it usually ends up that anything I wanted to do was done by the time I get off work.

... and yeah... Hopefully it is all worth it.

Finally have FFXI re-installed on my 360. Good-bye gimp laptop. Download was shorter than expected. For the game, expansions, and updates....running total was 9.5 hours. Which I slept through.

Other than that, I finally got an invite with my THF at Kazham. So I went from 32-34 leaving me for perfect soloing level there. I start my 14 days of work tonight, so the few hours I have to play during those days will be all geared towards skill raising. I may even just boot it back to Bastok and do Korro. Tunnel, as I do have my chocobo to care for (need that whistle)....

Leveling my BST, I went from level 33-37 in 4 hours in Gusgen Mines (3x Emperor ring charges). Love that place!

I was going to level to 38 for a easier transistion to the next camp but with 1300 exp left, two more BST shown up. I gave up the Bomb camp to them and log for the night.

I think I am getting the hang of BST. Even though I stupidly tried to charm a fly next to other flies. I survived miss charming a fly(which linked 3 other flys) while attacking a bomb. How did I survive? I was BST/NIN with 2 hi-pots. Charm one of the flys when the recast timer was up. Had it attack the bomb first then the other 3 flys. I have 97 HP left. Recast utsisemi when I was out of range and use a hi-pot. After the fly died, charmed one of the 3 flys and had it attack the bomb first then other 3 flys. I had 56 hp left. Recast utsisemi when I was out of range and use a hi-pot. Got lucky and the Bomb self destructed. Just charmed the fly with the most HP then attacked the last fly.

Getting to lvl 30 with my first adv job, and actually unlocking a few, I have blu7, nin20, drk30, smn5, sam10, and brd3 unlocked. Done within hours.

Also upon my return, i took my monk for lvl 20-29 in the dunes with one emp band charge and lots of FoV quests, with a damn good sync pt in about 6 hours. Very nice way to return, to find leveling hella easier then before. No waiting for pt either lol.

BRD from 20-23. Working on Marduk for my WHM so I figure it's only logical to level BRD as well.

Ding 59 RNG, and also Hunter's Jerkin today, with help from a kindly SMN from my LS. I was also fortunate enough to get my ranger's testimony while hunting the coffer key mobs. We also got a Warrior's testimony, which neither of us use, or plan on using- so he threw it away , lol.

This makes me 3/5 on AF, and I'll prob get my Hunter's Socks just b/c I want to beat the NM, but the braccae will wait until after I hit 75 RNG / can farm my own keys, since it doesn't help me at all.
