In the last two weeks, I've gotten:

Zenith Slacks
Duelist's Tabard
Warrior's Lorica
Armadillo Cuisses
Cleric's Briault

and almost a million gil worth of drops from IS/KC/BC-NMs. The last two weeks have been very rewarding for me

Ok, so in the past week I have:

Gotten my BLM AF2 Coat.

Killed Charibdys and gotten my Joyeuse amid a HUGE MASS of people camping that thing lately. (Thank God for 100% drop.)

Gotten Sword Skill to 250 (Cap), Dagger Skill to 239 (11 levels from cap) on my RDM. And capped club at 256 on my WHM.

Also got Savage Blade this week.

Not bad for this week.

The past week for me has been pretty good too:

Unlocked Tachi: Rana, got my Valor Gauntlets (finally!) finished meriting WAR, SAM, and PLD, and got two Serket Rings to drop in ODS back to back for meh! Woot!!!!!!

So, it looks like I was wrong. I joined a party at the Dunes at 17 and it disbanded when I was about to get to 20! Not only that, but I got 2 of the SJ quest items and after that, a higher level from my newly acquired LS got me the Magicked Skull.

I complete CoP 8-3 (I think ).

Story:

Last night around 9:58pm, we defeat the 4 pots. Then as I was going through the CS my ISP disables my internet at 10pm. (FYI: After I talked to them this morning, stupid 8am - 8pm customer support, and there system didnt show I was current with my account). I hope when I log in, I can finish the CS and start 8-4. I really dont want to go through that mission again.

The party I was with planned on doing 8-4 after. Now I have to probably wait another 2 months before I can find a PT to do 8-4.

As of the 26th of January, I finally quit the game.

1. I finished all expansions to the end of the main storyline, (or to the end of whatever's been released so far in WoTG's case).
2. Several hundred unique quests done. Name a cutscene, I probably watched it.
3. Surprised my poor friend with 5M gil.
4. Wandered out with an unlocked Thrysusstab, Carby's pole, Yinyang, evokers ring, every avatar and a crapload of other SMN gear I feel happy to have earned.
5. Helped a DRK I'd never met before finish her last AF quest. Someone has to respond to those lonely quest and missions shouts, I guess.
6. Somewhere, a little SMN named Travieso woke up to a small selection of HQ staves and Summoning magic + gear.

Oh, and I told Yugl he was still a tool. I'm most proud of that. If you're ever on Diabolos, be sure to take advantage of that. He doesn't actually read any of the replies to his posts anywhere else.

I've leveled my red mage to 39 (quickly gaining on 40) from 35 mid-last week. My scroll of Refresh is patiently waiting for me in my Mog house. *tents fingers*

While killing Acrophies in Quifim Island for Fields of Valor training, Carbuncle's Ruby finally dropped for me. Sweet!

Did CoP 2.3 and 2.4 last night. We had a 12 person alliance and whooped the holy crap outta them mobs.

We were gonna get thru 2.5 and some did... But only the first party won. They got it on their 2nd attempt (Blm, Whm, Whm, Pld, War, ???) My party (Whm, Whm, Pld, Rng, War, War) did not.

Then of course everyone who had already finished the mission that were helpin my party started the "another time" texts. Yet another thing left to "another time". Sucks cuz the second party was kinda under the impression that we were gonna be there "til we all made it".

Get used to that with CoP. There will be a lot of drama and disappointment. Of course, it's all worth it in the end, but CoP will try your patience more than any other mission sequence in the game.

Ya it is amazing how easy it is to solo in the lower levels now. Thats why I get a bit short with people when they whine about it now. LOL

I was in full agreement with you Aksannyi until my static got the the final 5 mega boss fights for Captain. My static soared through CoP, ToA, and ZM with little difficulty, but these last 5 fights... They're pretty shitty...
