    *Ding Dancer 72 ... lotta [campaign battle] and hittin' [fortifications] drove me and a buddy a bit nutty so he thought of committing suicide via PP's in Jeuno...

    Maybe he heard about it before but I had never thought of it ... we had an absolute blast. We dedicated our deaths "For Juliet" and "Doggie Pile!!" My buddy and I had about 6-8 other followers. Maybe if Jeuno AH hadn't run outta PP's and Venom ?'s we woulda had more. We had a elf lass in wedding gear dancing on our corpses for ages.... I have never laughed so hard in ffxi... especially when several taru seemed to be humping our bodies. Some people seemed to be skilling up on us w/ [Raise] since we'd refuse them.

    I knew we couldn't have been the first and I found a thread on here today about it >

                For us tarus, wise choice and Socerer's Ring do not belong together. I had one, I gave it back. (It was hubby's and he needed some equips anyways.) You are no good weakened or dead and thats usually what ends up happening.

                  Got my relic tiara from Dynamis-Bastok last night. I would post the nice link from the wiki but it seems to be down, probably due to people complaining about the recent bannings.

                    I have used my Sorc. Ring full time for the last 2 years. I would never sell it. I really dont die that much. After a while you learn how to stay alive. In places like dynamis you really learn to appreciate the short recast timer on Blink and having a good Stoneskin build.

                      Well you see Cotners, I know how to control my hate pretty well. You learn that as a taru or you die. I know how to stand out of distance from aoe's too for the same reason. But my fellow blms suffer from NOT KNOWING THIS. So when they nuke like its the end of the world and the mob comes over and does some massive aoe bs that kills me, ya..........the Sorcerer's Ring doesn't help much.

                        A lot of BLMs are really, really, REALLY dumb about hate. I've seen it a zillion times.

                        I also love the BLMs who don't try to run from the statues ... ffs ... statues are the slowest fucking mobs ever, run away for a bit and I'm sure another BLM's nuke will take it out.

                          The only thing I'm really concerned about is low-HP aggro from ghosts. I duo NW apollyon on a regular basis, and I don't know if it would be wise using it on the first floor.

                          Besides that, I'm pretty good about hate control, and I'm good at kiting. It's the stupid things that I'm worried about.

                            It's not as bad as it seems if you get the right gear to go with it. Not that having too many -HP/+MP items is a good idea for tarus in the first place.
