Decided to go ahead and drop 200k on an Arcane Flowerpot to try out some recipes. Since that was most of my gil I'm feeling a little sick at the prospect of this not working, but if it does pan out then I'm going to be very happy.

Time will tell.... I feel a little green right now though @.@

I know several people who would be very angry at this, lol.


Had kind of a good weekend with no events to do, unloaded my Cloud Evoker to a shell for the money drops, got about 560k worth of stuff, then went on to solo Despot and Steam Cleaner, so I have those gems to sell as well. Unloaded some other random crap and popped a few coffers and ended up making well over 1m gil. The Despot took too long to pop but I set a personal best time record on the kill, knocked it down in a shade under 28 minutes. Got myself Dusk Trousers, a Gigant Mantle, and a Merman's Earring with some of the cash, waiting on other stuff to sell for the 2nd Earring. Then went and plowed through some merits, up to level 3 Quick Draw recast and 7k LP from level 4. Duo'd Jailer of Fortitude using Quick Draw kiting, no Torque but I'm planning on leveling WAR so at least I have a Fort Axe waiting.

My stuff is being slow to sell including this Hellfire+1 that I've been trying to sell for 3 weeks, but once it all does I'll have another 1.3m to work with, more gil than I've made in months.

I just recently added a second comma to my bankroll... the last time that happened was during the height of inflation. Just before I bought erase for 1,300,000...

If only I would've waited for just 2.5 years...

/NIN is finished, apart from affording Utsusemi: Ni (and eventually capping skills), and /BLU and /BRD are off to a start, so I'm just thiiiiiiis close to actually starting on my main.

Got a few more levels on Alchemy and Cooking.

Found I could play reasonably well over a tethered BlackBerry while Comcast was out.
