Finished my Assault clears the other night myself... If only I was finished with the missions ; ;

Spent hours on this until I got it looking the way I wanted it, but behold, the Duelist's Jubbah:

I use that .dat on my WHM, btw, and I loved it so much that I had to make one for my RDM, so here it is. Spent several - and I do mean several - hours working on it and while it's not a game accomplishment, I'm damn proud. I'll probably be uploading it on FFXIdats eventually, but for now, it's nearly 6 AM. Going to bed.

I didn't make the staff. As for the cleavage, I copied it from a dat that was HQ into an NQ dat which made it look a lot less detailed and some of the shadowing is obviously lost there. I don't know how to make HQ dats.

Finally. Besieged was a big help in finishing this off. Went from 234->241 in one Besieged. PUP, MNK, THF and NIN mobs really do wonders (got 6 0.5 skill ups going form 234->250). Stayed away from COR though because of stripga.

Of course, have to put this to good use :p



lolmeleeSMN. >.> See wasn't joking. Everything is as it seems. R ear is Coral because not going to buy Merman's for a mage job lol. Back is Cheviot because Bellirose is never on the AH and NM is a pain in the butt to camp. That's a pole grip. A Martial staff would be better, but 200k for something I will never use outside of campaign seems stupid. Wish I had a carby pole. Grim is never on the AH, but could grab one of those for 10k if it ever popped up. Change Relic hands to Carby mitts and AF+1 feet to relic for the radioactive Rat. Need to unlock Garland of Bliss too, but lack of weapon and a floor 30 disc is a little in the way atm.

But yeah, this will never see the light of day outside of Campaign.

Finally getting to Al Zahbi - I know this does not seem like much of an achievement but wait for the whole story.

After after joining Tenshodo, and farming the 6 subjob items I finally got my ferry pass (or so I thought) so I took off for Mhaura to board the - oh it just left, wait 20 minutes - ferry. Get on said ferry much later only to find I didn't ACTUALLY have the pass, I forgot to go back after one game day to get it

Get on ferry and ferry departs go on deck and up the stairs My mom calls and I try to get her off the phone quick, but not quick enough as I return to find the ocean kraken has me down to the red already. reraise is not up, HP

Now, I'm pissed, so Im gonna show'em GD it! so I neglect to pick up my sword and sheild (only carrying elemental staves and not geared for soloing, geard for exp pt) I go off to the ferry again, and to seek my revenge. Selbina en route so wait 20 mins again, depart, on deck, snipper, jagil, both fall with almost no effort, then an EP revenant pops from behind and its on. and I die? HUH?granted I didn't have the right gear and weapons but what? so I hit reraise and it reaggros from across the deck and I die for the second time that trip

Mauva......you didn't have to HP. You would have been spit out on the docks dead and hopefully someone would raise you. LOL But, then again, you did have an epic adventure that you'll remember for a long time.

So, been a bit since I made any serious post here. With everything from the death of my beloved pony, my Mom and sister having a row which nearly resulted in my sister being kicked from the house, to thanksgiving with the grandparents and my struggles with the evil keylogger that somehow made it's way onto my computer, I've either been really busy or just wanting to get away from it all and not feeling like posting much.

Now that that's out of the way...

Finally obtained Shiva as a summon, I now have all summons except for Fenrir and Diabolos, and I've got my eye on them! I also got an Ifrit's Blade. With the exception of the Perdu Hanger and the Beastslayer swords, I am now set for weapons for my Blue Mage.

Word to the wise, don't call Ifrit an oversized teddybear, he will go berserk on you and kill you horribly. Didn't help that our Whm's Barfira wore off a split second before Inferno went off. Even so, that was like a super critical no resist Inferno that he smacked us with.

Got Blu to 44 and 2k to 45 in a somewhat inefficient if really fun and enjoyable party. The party setup was Blux2, Drg, Sch, Nin, Thf in Altepa exping off of beetles from 42-44. We had a few amusing times like getting 3 beetles respawning and linking in our camp as each beetle got down to the last 5% or so of hp, and one time the Thf brought back 3 beetles due to a respawn on his way back to the camp and one of the beetles running in a funky wide path and linking another one. I was the main dispeller/sleeper for the party, while the other Blu was the main DDer between the two of us. So yeah, my job was to sleep all those links and I pulled it off without a problem for the most part, so I'm quite happy and I'm in love with Soporific and Sheep Song. We only had one death in all of that too, our Sch got killed because of a bit of overcuring on our Nin and the Nin couldn't get hate back in time.

Got to play with Mandibular Bite some, I'm in love with the Red Lotus Blade > SACA Mandibular Bite + BA MP Drainkiss.

At the end of the party I finally figured out why MP Drainkiss wasn't MBing, failure on my part to use Burst Affinity. Which reminds me to fix my CA macro to include BA.

Which, now that I think about it, I'll have a macro named BACA, which is really close to Baka.

I got my Mythril Wings of Integrity, hey I've got integrity! Woohoo!

Got the melee Cobra feet/pants/hat. Saving my AN until I see what the update brings.

Starting work again on my Drg guide. Reorganizing it because I really liked how Armando had the equipment sections on his Pld guide. Hey, I'm admitting to using Armando's ideas 'cause I've got integrity and all that

Finally got off my lazy bum and finished the Burden of Suspicion quest. Not only were those stupid orcs too stupid to attack my lowly lvl 45 Rdm before I could activate the CS, I was able to get a warp off even with them hitting me for 600 damage! Haha! Take that stupid orcs! I did survive with only 74 hp to spare though, but even so! In your orcish faces!

WoTG mission/quest CS are surprisingly enjoyable. It's been a bit since I last did the missions/quests from there, so I'd forgotten how much I liked them.

Beyond that I can't think of much else that I've gotten done. Still working on subs for my Blu, and learning spells for it and all that. It'll be an accomplishment when I've gotten a sub to 37 or learned all spells below lvl 50.

Gardening has been VERY profitable to me. I've got a nice fairly steady income now with little to no work and I'm LOVING it! I might start saving up to buy the ABC for a Brutal Earring, but I'm not sure yet. I'd really wanted to join a Limbus Shell and get some Homam for my Drg and Blu and pickup some ABCs that way, so we'll see. I think that now most of the gear that I want to buy for my Blu comes from Assaults, and I'd much rather do the Assaults than drop the 300k or so for the earring, rings, and neckpiece that I'd want.

I'm kinda tempted to start a guide for Blu as well, but I'm not sure if I will or not. Alot of my exping has been in level synced parties or done solo while learning spells, so pretty much every party I'm in I'm worried about FUBARing up something major. So far though that hasn't happened and I've been getting alot of complements on how I play, although I do mess up a bit sometimes, so we'll see. I might make a list of which spells to get, which you'll really need for exp parties and which you can skip to pickup later, I'm fairly confident that I could do that without a problem.

I think there were a few other things that I wanted to mention, but I think I'll just leave it at that for now.

Oh yeah, except for Vyuru > stupid Orcs. And that I still claim it's skill and not luck like Canti insists on.

I spend most of five years collecting smooth stones for that little twat Chamama, only to have each one turned down. After all this time, after all my toil, I finally find the right stone and what do I get for my troubles?

A measly 200 gil.

Got my first AF weapon (War Hoop) on this character thanks to Mitsunari.

Also got my Trainee Knife (Where's the Alchemy and Woodworking trainee items, dagnabbit?).

Finally got through the quests to get to WotG mission 3, and got all the Maws and past telepoints except Jugner, because I'm dumb with maps.

Dinged 49 Woodworking- Once I sell off these stacks of horn arrows I'm undecided on whether I should HQ some status bolts for sale to build my bank a little, or move straight into Scorpion Arrows. Leaning towards selling bolts for awhile, and maybe I can use it to fund Ninja and Alchemy for awhile.

Also finally got myself ToAU access, managed to hunt the SJ items in about an hour on Friday night. I don't think I'm high enough level to actually DO anything in the Near East, but when I decide to unlock COR and BLU I won't have to quest for access first.

Also installed WotG, haven't really had a chance to explore it though.
