I don't even know what happened with the outcome from the GM call. Our leader was talking with one because we immediately called one. We got the 10 min warning and he said to drop our lamps. He only said one thing to us in ls that the GM said to him. The GM asked him if we were sure we were in Einherjar.........

Gee Mr. GM let me pinch myself and see if I really am here....

Other than that, I didn't hear anything and haven't been in game yet today.

Blah, fucking weird. At the very least, you should get a refund on your lamp, that's probably about it though. We got a glitched dynamis once that just tossed us out without so much as a 30 second warning (and we had ages left on the clock, btw) and we got our glass refunded. Was quite a while ago, but yeah.

Not that the 180k is really a crazy amount of gil or anything, but that's the least the GMs could do.

GMs are retarded.

I literally had this exact conversation not too long ago. The GM actually responded quickly, while the group that stole it was still killing Despot right next to us, asked me what zone it was in, and apparently the /say chat of "you goddamn right we stole ur Despot" from one of the group was not sufficient enough evidence to warrant any disciplinary actions.

I literally had this exact conversation not too long ago. The GM actually responded quickly, while the group that stole it was still killing Despot right next to us, asked me what zone it was in, and apparently the /say chat of "you goddamn right we stole ur Despot" from one of the group was not sufficient enough evidence to warrant any disciplinary actions.

It does, 'stolen' regarding NMs these days is typically more of a griefing issue than anything else, where it's just really, really fucking rude to take a yellow NM from someone who has not wiped to it. In this specific case the 'thieves' intentionally followed us to where we were kiting it and gathered to form a wall of players in the middle of our kiting path to slow us down(this is the main part that is against the ToS, classified as greifing or harrassment). We had caught a link(was myself and 1 other person) from casting aggro, my partner cast Stun on Despot and I slept the pot that had linked intending to just zone it. His action on Despot should have kept it claimed but for some reason it went yellow for a split second, and they jumped all over it, then proceeded to talk shit to us about how cool they were for stealing it as they took it back to kill it.

Not really a huge deal, my LS claims 2-3 Despots a day and sells most of the triggers, more than anything I was just stumped that the shell of nobodies were so desperate for a mob that pops every 2 hours that they had to steal it, were so proud of stealing it, and that the GM did nothing and asked me a question like above. I believe the shell is no longer around(surprise), but still kind of wtf @ the whole thing.

I knew it copied it from somewhere, it was an easy example for me to remember, that I knew someone had posted on BG or here. Pretty much cements it, GMs are idiots.
