Mmmm ... No. =P

I'll be taking a break from endgame for perhaps a few weeks, but I have a plan. It includes finishing my BLM to 75 and getting my WHM merits 100% done, among other things.

I have my reasons for not transferring, most of which center around not having an extra $25 to just throw at SE. I plan to apply to a really good ls soon, and I'm pretty sure I can get in if they have an opening for a WHM soon. I've spoken to their leader and a lot of their sacks and it's really just a matter of playing the waiting game. They're very exclusive, so it's not just an "if they want you, they'll take you anyway" thing. You probably know what ls I'm talking about, without dropping names.

Though I'm really good friends with one of the sacks, and she might be able to pull some strings. Other WHMs can come on other jobs to make room for me on WHM, etc. But I have to play it kind of cool. It's like a special operation, lol. She has me come help them with things when they don't have any WHMs online, like last night, she had me come help with JoTemp. It's a subtle way of letting the members and the leadership know that I'm valuable to them with my late hours, and because the members vote on apps (the leader picks the good ones and lets members vote on them) it's good to have them see that I'm good at my job and that I work well with them.

Trust me, I've put a LOT of thought into this. I've been little miss strategy the past few months. lol

I haven't said a lot about it because it's so not set in stone, but I almost feel like it will be happening in the next month or so, hopefully sooner.

Hey now my RDM can, and I'm quite the beast with my nukes. I outdamage CK by a LOT on Brothers, it's a wonder he can rip hate off me when I need to Convert.

Yeah I figured that's the LS you'd be heading for, lol. And ugh, don't remind me Armando, I've been meaning to go out on BRD with Hope Staff and skill that up for months, will do it once I cap shield most likely.

And I just realized I need to totally overhaul my PLD macros on 360 when I get home

Commodore Frac! Of course the first one I lost the lot on because I am incapable of lotting more than 200 on AF2 when there's competition, but luckily a 2nd one dropped.

Actually we had a fantastic Glacier overall, aside from the intentional deaths while soloing the eye that pops Attestation NMs I had no deaths, we got several AF and a 100, and the NM dropped shield attestation for our PLD who is almost to Ancile currency-wise.

Anyways, died twice in a row while farming (must've been a bad day for me), which made me go "You know what, screw this, I was supposed to be close to 15 anyway, why not go all the way there already?" And I had already popped my Empress Band from dieing once, anyway (I always use it after dieing when I know I'm fighting stuff that gives exp), so I took an invite in to a Valkurm Level Sync Party (I would be the Level that was Synced to), and upon arrival I found a Great-Sword-wielding Warrior as well as a Dragoon that defended his choice of weaponry (saying he had gone Sword-and-Shield Warrior himself . .. *shudder*), and, what do I get for the excuse of not using Shield Break other than "it's only a subjob" and "people can play how they want" as excuses for gimping themselves. Oh, and we had a Red Mage pulling because he was the only one with a Ranged weapon (yes, the Great Sword Warrior didn't have a Crossbow, but I didn't get on him for that because Acid Bolts really are Level 15 after all; I should have gotten on to him anyway).

Notice, however, I am not posting this in the Pet Peeves thread. Miraculously enough, things went rather smoothly, and the party (composed of PLD (me), WAR, DRG, RDM, WHM, and BRD) was regularly hitting chains of 3-to-4. I was only in there for an hour, but I got well in to level 15, and let me say, Shield Bash is nothing but awesome. ^_^

Non-automerge edit: Also, dang, if San d'Oria had about two more Conquest Regions, we'd probably have some sort of situation wherein Bastok and Windurst would have to combine forces against us.

This was a very productive / right place time weekend.

I capped sword, blue mage magic, and evasion thanks to besieged.

I upgraded my BLMs equipment for the first time since I started leveling BLU and saw the unresisted results fight Proto Omega!

I learned Exuvation(sp?) while in Nysul Isle (A team member aggro a moth while we were running through). This completes my list of get all my BLU spells! FYI for all the BLUs who are trying to get this spell, I would suggest getting it in Nysul Isle on the "eliminate all enemies" floor. They seem to have lower HP than the others in ToU.

I was bored and helped someone get a the ZNM Cheese Hoarder (something) as a BLM. At first the reward was going to be 30k but since noone needed the sword he dropped I got that instead!! Now I have the sword Beast Slayer for my BLU.
