I convinced myself there was no way in hell the thing would drop the night I got mine. I was so shocked I nearly shit myself.

We got 3 in our last 2 Xarcs, all of them after I got mine. Just watch, it will drop, and then it will drop 15 times after that, making you wonder exactly why the hell you waited as long as you did. Fucking Dynamis.

At this point I'm not worried so much about it since I've managed to do well for myself without it up til now, when I finally do get it it's pretty much icing on a pretty damn fine cake. Would be nice if Ix'DRK would stop being a buttface though.

Actually I ran into a valid concern that has never been an issue before with RDM, lol. I had a really good week last week and raked in about 900k in 4 days, putting me a shade over a mil...I went to the AH to spend it and realized that I'm pretty much out of buyable shit to invest in for RDM minus Coral Scale Mail +1 and a couple of HQ Darksteel pieces for my damage reduction sets.

Technically I could buy Aqua Ring/Devotee's Mitts +1, but I'm pretty comfy with Omega Ring and waiting out the next 13k Mamools points until Yigit Gages by using NQ Devotee's. So now I'm sitting on this mil and I don't know what the hell to do with it, lol.

Probably going to start saving for Imp. Wootz since we just started Salvage, I did level another job(PLD) but that's actually pretty much down to just R/E crap as well since most of the buyable stuff I had from RDM tanking already. XD

Ahh, Salvage gear is good to save for.

My WHM is almost done with buyables, too. Just waiting on a friend to craft me Aristocrat's (which I could just buy but she's hooking me up with a good deal AND a signature) and then I'm just waiting for the R/E to fill in. At 11k ampoules for Morgana's, Cleric's Belt does not exist, and other random shit.

RDM needs a few more things. I'm 6/8 HQ staves with hope to finish those off this weekend maybe, and pretty much hung up on R/E for that, as well. Then there's BLM, which is mostly geared for 75 now with the gear I already have, save for Weskit.

WAR will break my bank though, if I decide to pick it back up. WAR at 75 will cost me about 5 mil to gear properly. (Or the way I see "properly," however I have higher standards than most.)

Kind of funny, I played g/f's WHM last night for Nyzul because her work schedule got changed around. I haven't really paid a lot of attention to what all she has, I just try to make sure she understands what she needs to and help her with macros and let her do the rest...so I log on and go to update macro scripts, and she's kind of loaded, lol.

She just got Tamas but hasn't done any Limbus yet, but other than that she's sitting on 4/5 AF2 needing just body, Templar Mace + Muse Tariqa, Goliard Hat, Trooper's/Tamas, Cure Clogs, w/e Blessed pieces WHMs use, and some other assorted crap. Her staves and MP set are all pretty NQ but her curing set is top notch, she needs Serket Ring and A.Legs for a working Medicine Ring set. I dropped a Cure V that did like 830 yesterday and was like holy crap, that's double my Cure IV on RDM, lol.

Also WHM/SCH is insane.

Oh yeah, I need to finish SCH too ... parties suck at 22 though. ~QQ~ and I've really been enjoying leveling BLM in my spare time.

Cure V, favorite though is when I DS + Cure V someone in Besieged who has the Giant's Drink on them, cure like 1800 HP is pretty fucking hot.

WHM is not hard to gear really but a lot don't gear swap it too much. I have a LOT of sets on WHM. I must be a pain in the ass to Refresh because I swap so much, but all the sets make me much more effective.

In my dreams, I have the WHM Nyzul relic. WANT WANT WANT WANT. Will have, just unfortunately, not any time soon.

My wife, who recently dinged 51rdm got herself killed in Onzozo and needed a raise, so while I was there I checked to see if Mysticmaker was around.



2/2 on this drop. God I'm a bastard. I can just tell I've got some insane bad karma coming up.

Ended up doing Windy and it was awful, terrible attendance(like 14 counting me 2boxing g/f's character), got all TEs and clearance but only got SMN BST BST BLM and no 100s. It was frustrating because you could tell THF was working as we got a synth mat off of almost every single kill, but the AF just wouldn't fall and I got mpk'd by Sweep at least 6 times. 7 RR gorget charges used and all R3s otherwise and still went from 6k buffer to 1.3.

Ugh. I hate Dynamis runs like that. I feel your pain. Had a Xarc like that where every mage either left or d/c besides me .... 26 people in the zone left when we got to the eye wall and I'm left to keep them all alive, with hardly any MP and only 2mp/tick that I get from /SMN and Noble's ... that was a trying night. Then people had the audacity to get angry that we called it a night early without doing DL.

Of fucking course we weren't going to do DL. We couldn't even get past the fucking eye wall without wiping 3 times.

Now that I think of it, though, that was the night my hat dropped, so I paid for it in aggravation and exp.

Yep I've done many a Dynamis as the only lonely whm but NEVER a Xarc! To even think that some people wanted to try DL with one frickin whm and few mages is absolutely INSANE. They must have black holes where their brains should be.
