Freaking Rank 5 again. Airship, how I missed you so.

It was fun. Someone took down the higher of the two Beadeaux NMs for me. The other, I took with WAR/DNC at 40, with 2-hour and level 35 healer NPC, plus an Au Lait. Had like 80 HP left at the end.

Also, WHM 33.

Got my first 75 job today, DRG/WAR.

Spent like 20 mins just looking at the merit menu like a total geek.

hmmm where do i start.

1. Got my Evokers horn after 2+ hours
2. then i dinged to level 60
3. my LS then helped me with G3
4. I have now dinged to 32 WHM and 61 SMN

I've made it six days without FFXI... no shakes or withdrawl symptoms so far.

I'm not quitting, mind you, I just had to get away from the game for a bit. I had this crazy idea about starting PLD from 1 and taking it to 75 when I have three jobs much closer that I could just finish to 75. Plus might have a new (real) job soon, so didn't want thoughts of FFXI distracting me for now.

No worries, BBQ, I took a brief break myself. And then when I was ready to start playing again, I couldn't get my CC to work. The panic that ensued was enough to ensure me that I wasn't ready to give it up yet, and I suppose that's exactly what I needed.

It's a giant accomplishment by a newbie's standards: unlocked Summoner! :D



I've been so busy with Cooking (74.6 atm), so I just stored my Ruby in inventory and left weather collection to the errands I ran for synthing.


After playing around with it in East Saruta for a while, I got used to the concept of summoning carbuncle - of course, yag drinks were my friend. Last night - err, this morning - was the first time I've ever wanted to call in sick for work because of FFXI >.>




My point: Summoner = fun.

Corsair to 40 with 1k tnl, got my trump gun and dice up to 60.
Ranger to 35. Now to farm for the next month for ammo/cards/pcc
