Finally got my Moldavite Earring this morning. I can't remember how many times I've killed that asshole. And the coolest thing is that I did it all on my own. I didn't have to ask anyone else to help me with something for the first time in a while, and that was a really nice feeling.

And I have taken to soloing things a lot lately. I haven't had a social (that I feel a part of) for over six months, and finding help for things among "friends" (just because they're on your friendlist does not make them actual friends, I've found) has been difficult. Try shouting in Whitegate and you get no response. It's been like two weeks since I've asked someone if he'd help me with WAR AF3 so I can finish it, and he keeps giving me these noncomittal answers. It says on the Wiki that RDM/WAR can solo it, so I might just have to try. Though I'm more comfortable on RDM/BLM or RDM/DRK, but fuck it, it's only XP, right?

At least when I solo shit I can feel like I've accomplished something. :/

It's gotten so bad that I will stand idle in Whitegate for hours on my PC and browse the net on the laptop, periodically checking to see if anyone is shouting to do something I need.

I'm actually really excited about the new solo prospects for my RDM and COR that the new NM system look like they've opened up...the same old Zip/SC/Despot was kind of getting old, I don't quite have the gear to pull of Faust yet, and I didn't really want to spend 2-3 hours on Gration or Genbu.

Now I need to start farming Zeni, not looking foward to that.

And Murphie, I posted on your other thread but it double-post merged, your Elite Beret is a turd.

I do this all the time when I actually have time to attempt things. Asking the ls is futile.

You know TM lately I've been considering jumping servers but three things stop me from doing it: 1. CK (duh) 2. I've got a really good group of people I run Dynamis, Sky, and Sea with, and 3. I don't have the $25. Actually $50 since I'd have to transfer both accounts.

Really just need to find myself a good group of people to chill with, the last few socials I've gotten my hands on have been full of newbs, which is fine, but if I need help with something they're pretty much useless. Also, I can't stand newbie chatter anymore.

Slivers actually aren't that bad to solo as blu sub whatever your fancy is. If you did your promies a long time ago, you'd be stunned how much easier those zones are to move through now.

BLU = 15. :/ Was xping it tonight, but it was one of those horrible parties where we'd have to zone every 3 fights because some idiot got an add, and you lose more xp than you end up gaining.

But it's on my list of shit to watch for when I'm AFKing in Whitegate.
