On the positive side, it turns out I had enough gil to scrape together a pretty reasonable RDM casting set after all. Melee might have to wait though. It's been a long time since

I've done much of anything on my RDM, much less solo, so I probably overstepped my limits when I tried to solo the Claws of the Griffon quest last night. Though to be fair, I only lost by a few percent. He was nearly dead. It's just that I wasn't really prepared for the fight, and I probably should have gravity kited him a bit instead of trying to straight out melee for much of the time. I was subbing BLU for Cocoon, but maybe I should try a different sub. If only I had the money for Ni.

Anyway, I'm going to give it another try this afternoon. Hopefully with better results than last night. Not that I minded dying. I did mind, however, the two guys watching and waiting for me to die.

Met some really nice folks and did Sandy 7-1 through 8-1. We're going to (hopefully) do 8-2 tomorrow. Finally I am getting close to Rank 10. I thought this day would never come.
