My new best accomplishment: I scored 86% on my math unit final today.

In FFXI I walked around in a circuit with my LFP flag up for around 2 hours. Then I proceeded in asking everyone in Whitegate if they could give me some tips on how to get money.

After I accomplished this, I went to Zi'Tah to farm up some Golem Shards only to find that the whole place was farmed out, and moved to Crawlers nest. As I was killing crawlers and getting silk at a fairly steady rate, I get messaged by a party near the entrance that I'm stealing their mobs and that I should die in a fire.

Ah, DIAF. I love that phrase. In that situation, if the party is being polite, I typically either leave or politely reply that I can't leave, but i'll try not to take things out from under them if I see them. When parties are rude though, ohohoho, I poisonaga and get to work.

Well considering I'm a Dragoon, I don't have any multi-claim abilities, so I just ran around jumping on things and using Penta Thrust (When my TP allowed it) on a crawler close to my that I wasn't currently attacking.

and I just found out that if you leave it on Experience Points, it'll automatically switch to Limit Points for you. :D Sweet. lol

I logged on today with 7.8k exp to go until I hit 75. Sat around LFG for an hour and a half before giving up on that pursuit. So I bit on a /shout where someone was looking for a tank for Garuda. I've had all the tuning forks since about level 40, and hadn't done a single avatar fight yet. So I figured it was time.

Party was 74 WAR/NIN (me), 75 WHM, 63 WHM, 62 BLU, 61 RDM. We had a 75 WAR/NIN, but for some reason he wasn't able to get the tuning fork (even though he said he'd done it twice before). But we still managed to pull it off, even with a whonky party set up. I actually evaded a good deal, which surprised me. But the fight took forever.

It was nice to finally experience an avatar fight. Still, kinda disappointed I didn't get a shot at hitting 75 tonight.

My achievement? Actually having a working computer with a graphics card that doesn't black screen on me.

And getting insanely excited about the rest of season of Dr Who, but that is neither here nor there!
