Did an aby pt that took my drg from 55 to cap at 85 and 21 merits *shot*

What should I merit? Lol and what abysites do I want to go for?

After that it's really dependent upon personal taste. I went with one merit in Empathy so I can Spirit Link for extra TP(and so my Wyvern can have a useful buff once in a blue moon), and the rest into Deep Breathing for those emergency super powered healing breaths.

Finished the last fight of Rise of the Zilart, so I can cross that off of the FFXI bucket list. It is laughably easy at 99.

Got past Banishing Gate #2.

That's right Yyg, I'm camping the Hovering Hotpot. Also: you lied to me. There is totally a safe spot where you can afk. It's just behind a false wall next to some cermet door.

That I'm not sure about. Probably the 'occasionally attacks twice' one if you're not going for an Empyrean. I hear the STR one is also pretty ok. Personally I went with the Store TP polearm so I can be a lazy bum about maintaining a 5-hit build.

Got SAM from 1to 34 in the past 2 days. Tryin to cap it for subbing.

Did the first half Sam/pup. (/pup is pretty badass for starting jobs FYI)
Then rocked out Sam/Dnc.

Also…something magical happened. By some rare fluke I capped Treasure Caskets right away in the Maze of Shakakhan. Brown chests dropped like candy.
Picked up a Fisher’s Rope (although I put fishing off for a bit).

And last but not least, the 3 starter City Voidwatch Battles Cleared.
