Granted they don't really fit into my gear sets as they are now and Houyi's Gorget isn't even all that rare. But hey. Voidwatch gave me drops!

In other news, a few members from my old Abyssea LS have come together and formed a small Voidwatch LS, the one I did it with tonight. The LS's name is MANLOVE. Not sure how I should feel about being seen wearing such a LS...

And my accomplishment: I finally got my modem to stop messing up my connection with XI. How? I just replaced it with my older (and better) modem. <_<;

So yeah I was able to be online for 20 mins last night before going to sleep. /yay

Although I really wanted to mpk that Magian mog when I saw the next trial needs 40 geodes for a meager +3 DMG and +1 DEX/STR with no change whatsoever on +acc/att.

The 40 geodes really wasn't too bad for me... cuz I was getting the geodes I needed just in doing the trials during the weather/day that was specified. I know that's how I got mine for my Dex dagger... and my Str sword has a healthy chunk now as well... I know I have the first geode trial complete... can't remember how many I have for the second.

I need 80 Thunder and 80 Flame to upgrade my 4 swords. XD

Though I'm way more peeved about the lolable improvement than the amount of Geodes.

Yeah... that's a bit daunting. Especially cuz the next tier is 40 geodes for each for another minimal upgrade if my memory serves.

The avatarites seem to drop better than geodes.

Avatarites drop exclusively from lvl 80+ mobs. If you want Geodes... farm them outside Aby... if you want Avatarites... inside Aby or from the new GoV mobs in various zones.

Protip: Pick a zone that experiences frequently occurring weather of the appropriate type since Avatarites follow the same exact rules as Geodes do... in that they will drop more frequently during Weather rather than Day.

Guess I'll see if I stick around long enough to get those trials done. For now I think I'll try to focus on genkai and merits.

You'd think it would be a group of LGBT players from the server under one linkshell (there's even a linkshell on our server composed of German speakers). But, from my old linkshell, there was only one player in it who was really gay. And he's not in it.

The funny thing is that people will see the linkshell and probably assume it's a gay linkshell when I'm probably the only guy in it right now that even remotely leans in that direction.

Considering my char was THM 12 or something it would be pretty easy to remake my char somewhere else. <_<
