Finished /DNC.

Never really ought to be commended for making that job his main and being so determined to kick ass with it. I can see that job being a recipe for repetitive stress injuries at higher levels. It seems like it would be insanely frantic if being done properly.

It took over 18 hours of camping, but I finally finished the Bugbear Strongman trial for my Armageddon.

There is no way I am doing this sort of camping again for a long ass time after I finish this weapon.

You lucky SoB... He was up when I get there; some two people people were fighting it. I begged for an invite, but got ignored. Requested for invite in auto-translate in case they didn't speak English, but to no avail...

After at least 25 tries, the squid finally dropped my DNC necklace. And then I went to try out Limbus for the first time with an LSmate. We duoed it okay until we ran into 2 BLMs. They killed us, but it was a good first run.

The JPs on my server that are building Armageddons seem more than happy to team up when I run into them camping the same NM. I went through at least two groups of them yesterday. Granted they didn't stay for more than one of the kills, but still...


Accomplishment: Capped out exp on Corsair so I can continue NM hunting and simplify my defensive tactics to "level correction forumulas, bitch", allowing me to go 99 COR/1 RNG.
Also the worm party I joined broke 300,000 exp/hour. It was kind of nuts.

For Armageddon, the only time I was with a group was for the Trial against the Yagudo NM in Castle O, and then the Quadavs in Pashow (spelling).

Kannagi went fairly fast. Made is to the B. Helm trial in 3 days (not 3 full days, but when I was on for the three days).

Soloed the Ironclad in Vunkerl for my DNC ammo (and BLU ammo and PLD waist, but I don't need those atm). It was fun.

I remember when I was looking for that "elephant" NM (for part of my Karkadaan pop set) and Ironclad aggro'd me. Was my first time actually getting aggro'd by an Ironclad (I didn't fight it, so I can't say it's my first time engaging it). The rest of the group came and fought Ironclad while I finish the other NM. Ironclad went down so fast that I didn't even notice until AFTER the DNC item dropped to me (due to everyone passing). There were 5 of us; the BLM was beastly with his damage.

Well I finished my WAR AF3+1, have a few stones for some pieces to get +2 and I've just been working on getting my other jobs AF3+1 as well as leveling subjobs to 50. Nothing exciting.

I only came back a couple of weeks ago, and already I'm doubting whether I'll stay. I feel bad though because there's a few people that have really helped me out, but I don't know... It kind of just feels like I have too much to catch up on and perhaps I shouldn't really waste my time with an old game (i.e. hunting ridiculous NM's for my magian weapons, can't accomplish anything unless someone is helping me, etc). Leave the memories of the game over the last 8-9 years as just memories.

But at the same time I need an MMO fix, something new that I can see myself spending the next 5 years playing. Which I have yet to find (hoping next year shows something promising).

Hey Shygirl hope this helps. My buddy suggested going to port windy and using a Sabiki Rig right off the dock of the guild catching Bastore Sardine. I was level 5.8 and after roughly an hour I dinged lvl 7. I got more items there but the fish were easy to reel in. Which was much faster skilling than moat carp in West Ron. I would have stayed longer but it was late and I was passing out.

He said stay there till 10, rank up, then try qufim island (same setup) at the frozen pond and catch Yellow Globes for the next couple levels.

I’m not sure if there’s a particular rod to use for it. I broke down and bought an overpriced Lu Shangs rod…in hopes to re-make that gil back someday with fish ><.

Urat's fishing guide is great for new fishermen.
Well up until 40 then it forgets to mention in his areas that you'll pull up nothing but tiny goldfish. But it's worth a look and is decent to use until the point it tells you to fish in Al Zhabi then it tells you lies!

I used that same guide until about 25. After that I called it quits... but that was before the fishing cap was placed on us. I made it to 25 on one very long, sunlight-free weekend.

It's good stuff.
