Wish I could solo him for ya :/ but iirc he switches off absorbing physical/magical damage. Even ‘The Great Rom’ cant compete with that

He got -5% MDT, -5% Breath Damage Taken and -6% PDT on a dark ring. I'm like "what the fuck, why does that ring have MDT and BDT at the same time?"

Levelled RDM to 21, now to catch up on some of the spells I'm missing and re-gear it. Picked up another card for WHM +2 body on a Bennu run. I am counting my lots for the Coin and Card as an accomplishment because I've never had two in a row that good (996 and 995).

Also: Pet Peeve. People you team up with that don't understand how PHs actually work, but don't listen when you tell them they'd actually be more helpful if they would do nothing instead of killing everything, thereby making what should be easy work into a laborious effort.

Pretty much. Two hour farming sessions on Dragoon. I don't get a ton of rings, but the ones I get are pretty good.

Go in, grab a handful of ruby kills to speed light building with chests and then just go to town on Saplings kill-shotting with Raiden Thrust for Amber or just dropping Drakesbanes to speed up the kills. Saplings give no ruby so you don't have to worry about WSing freely. I don't usually have the time to even attempt long term farming sessions so I just rush straight to the lights that'll get me dark rings. It's worked out pretty well for me.
