I spent all night lost in Dynamis - Windurst, but I got the clear so now I never have to see that zone again. Ever.

Did you happen to find any good spots for JA proc-ing?

I need about 700 more Bynes then I can kiss Bastok goodbye forever.
I’ll probably be in Dynamis-Windurst for 2-3 monthns ; ;. (unless someone gives me 10,000 shells)

My buddies and I only found one spot that seemed suitable. It was on top of a building and where a DRK and a RNG lived (if I recall correctly) and you could pull a THF, NIN, and BST up from below. Might have been the building above one of the TE's. But that zone sucks for safe pulls... it really does. I'm glad to be done with it now that I have the relic I wanted from it.

It's almost worth it to farm other currency to sell, so you can buy shells, imo.

Not at all. The pickup group I ran with barely managed to get the clear in time so there wasn't much time for finding good farming spots, not that I would have seen anything from that with one of the members lotting all the currency the entire night

I'd go with Neverslip's suggestion if I were in your shoes. Windurst is just a terrible terrible place in all its incarnations.

Just made my way to Purple, The new black.
Interesting story so far.
I've been doing well in besieged 15k a few times also.
I zoned into Ronf S and grabed tags so I could take a look at campaign and walked out with 6k exp and I felt pleased with myself.

Hmmm, I’ll take a peak around that area. I wasn’t sure if there was a specific spot. In Bastok, there’s one spot with 3-7 JA mobs and a NM (it’s perfect). Other than that it’s a death zone.

I know of a good camp in Beauc but those yads are slightly tougher than the cities. And everyone camps there…kinda hard to secure that spot. Probably get camped over anyway. I can certainly solo them with ease…its just that they don’t go down as fast. Trying to find the most efficient spot.

Only problem with buy/selling is that shells are now (for some odd reason) becoming the most expensive on our server. Which doesn’t make sense seeing as Bynes are the hardest to get, yet they are the cheapest. Not getting as much bang for my buck. If I MUST, I’ll do that but trying to avoid it.

I was a little disappointed to hear from a buddy on another server that shells were going for 8-10k….on Cerb they’re 14-16k . Not to mention plentiful.

Another option I thought of was finishing up Brd (stopped at 81) and going with Bst & Brd. I can sleep mages and spam threnodies till proc and my buddy can finish them off.

Sandy Rank 8. Going slower than Windy, but I'm not hating it as much.

Also, got 6 WAR leg seals. I hope to finish those up tonight.

Finished War to 49, and topped off a few other jobs from 47-49. Also started working on getting RDM to 49 as well. Currently at 17... but it's the last job I need at 49... then im done leveling anything until the level cap increase. Woo!

Finally managed to get the timing down on my super long skill chain and Magic burst. It goes:

Death Scissors > Mandibular Bite > Induration > Sickle Slash > Compression > Dimensional Death > Transfixion >
Sprout Smack > Reberberation > Tachi: Yukikaze > Induration > Tachi: Goten > Impaction > Tachi: Yukikaze > Detonation > Tachi: Jinpu > Scission > Tachi: Kagero > Liquefaction > Tachi: Koki > Fusion

My RDM pops chainspell about the time the SAM is taking over from the BLU and starts spamming magic bursts, while the BLM bursts Freeze > Flood > Thundaga II > Flare.

It was damn near a perfect symphony of carnage, except I accidentally overlayed the SAM and the BLU at the second induration (BLU did Grand slam same time the first yukikaze came out), so the skillchain broke and started doing incorrect things, like doing a solo distortion before the final fusion skill chain, but everything still went off at the right time and the final flare got a magic burst.

This was all on Altedour I Tavnazia, the final WHM NM for AF, who has ~18k HP. He dropped to 50% by the end of it, so near 9k Damage on one skill chain. It would be higher, but he takes -50% magic/skillchain damage. I'd argue that's not bad for level 62.

Ended up dying because he brutally murdered the SAM, BLU, and BLM after it was all done. Managed to whittle him down to 15% before he killed the rest of the group but I'm so pumped the skillchain worked I don't care. Going to go back for another attempt once all our 2hours are back up. In the mean time, time to run around handing out kindred seals to random folks in a limit break quest that is 100 times more annoying when you need to do it on 6 characters who all get sent to different people.

If it took out half of his health after messing up the skillchain, doing it properly should nearly wipe him out.

It's a shame that we don't see people do this at the higher-end nowadays. Even if you could get any number of people to co-operate that effectively, it's all about the procs these days.

Been doing WotG missions because someone wanted to get his mule through. Only two mission fights left, and Q12/13 fights on Windurst and Sandy.

Finally got a chance to do another evening of GoV. Now my SAM is up to 57.

Bynes have always been half the price of the other two on SylFairy. I presume it's because less people want the relics that need Bynes?

Don’t think that’s the case. Most common Relics (Apoc/Mandu/Bravua/Aegis/Ammo) all need at 6,000 to 10,000 bynes. Well except Aegis but still needs 2,500

Bynes just might drop more, or it may be related to the stages of the relics that require bynes, or the difficulty that sends people to different zones to farm.

I would imagine that the big factor is how many groups have a farming routine set up on what servers.
