Got my Poele Classique (San d'Orian stove) and a Rabbit Belt. I also got my Mog Sack, my Bonanza Marbles, and my job emotes for WHM and RDM with PLD next in line.

I also came up with a revised Mog Bonanza wishlist, which I'll post in the appropriate thread.

Finished Evisceration, using BST/PUP on Citadel Beetles again (I even counted right), then soloed Baronial Bat.

Just now got my WHM to 90, and also got a level on RDM and THF.

I decided to break out my WHM last night after several years of just laying in the dust (The last time I had leveled it was back when ToAU came out, I remember my last party was on Erucas). Managed to get a semi-leech position in an abyssea party -- the guy didn't consider me a leech because I was high enough to actually do stuff like Cure, but I didn't do boxes or anything like that -- and went from 66 to 84 in one sitting. I was smart back when I was leveling and bought all my scrolls through 75, so dug them out and used them throughout the party, plus whatever scrolls I could find on the Auction House. Now I'm only missing 4 through 90 (the 3 84+ Boosts and Cura II, which I stupidly sold when I did the quest for it). I'll be camping the auction house for those, I think, but they're nothing important so I'm not going to stress over it.

I also managed to dump the 20 merits I've been holding for a while into it, and I figure I only need 49 more to complete meriting WHM which should be easy enough in today's environment.

At the very least, this is going to make PLing my mule account much easier, since I'll have 2 mp/tick refresh with Nobles and /smn now, plus a gigantic MP pool. Certainly beats going brd/whm and relying on ballads to keep MP up.

Edit: I've since hit 90 with capped XP. Huzzah!

Got RDM to 82 in some awesome campaign battles (6500 in Lastok, I mean Bastok Markets, and another 6000 in N. Gustaberg), then did The Price of Valor, which it turned out someone in the LS needed. Got another BST90 to help whack on it, and I shouldn't have even wasted a Zeta on my pet. It can probably be soloed by a BST90 with Call Beast timer up.

So it's true that a lot of people that moved to (or tried to move to) XIV still call the "new" races by their FFXI names? Lalafell are just Tarutaru in denial

Cleaned out a bunch of junk from my various inventories, got Gyokuto Obi (yay more bunny costumes), my PLD emote, splurged 60k on a San d'Orian Tea Set just for the heck of it, got Rank 5, Airship Pass, and Hoary Spire, essentially completing all the things the New Year's event has to offer me. ^_^

Bought for really cheap... a Nifty Mantle(1k) for WS and a Sharpeye Mantle(5k) for TP as a change from my trusty Amemet Mantle +1. Bought a Forager's Mantle(70k) as well to replace my Behemoth Mantle +1 and open up a macro spot on my SAM.

WHM was already 90, but now it's capped.

Got WAR to 90, capped it, and got 17 merits.

Atma of the Razed Ruin. Now I need to take my WAR to Abyssea again to try it out.

Got the first two staff Magian Trials on the path to the "Cure Potency +22%" option.

It's been a few good days on the game.

Got a lot done in the last 2 days.

Got a few Atma, as well as up to 5/6 Merit and 6/6 Sojourn abyssites

Just need kons. fame for playing paparazzi. Also finished chesma and am now on Carabosse for my Masamune :D

- Unlocked Limit Break 90.
- Got Caller's Horn/Pigaches/Bracers
- Got my first Caller's Seal: Head 1/8 ^_^
- Befriended 3 players who havent played since before ToAU was released. I formed a LS (since I didn't have one yet anyway) to teach them everything that has happened over the past 4 years.
- Turned on "Mentor" for the first time... in... forever.
- Broke 3.5k with Predator Claws!
- Killed Hadhayosh (and videotaped it)... and got Atma of the Lion
- Killed my first zone <Mega Boss> (La Thein Plateau)
- Leveled WHM/SCH/BLM to 45 for subjobs

Oh... and OWNED all 6 of the Terrestrial Prime Avatars (For fun... since I'm lvl 82 now)

~Another Atma... something of the King from some NM in Aby-Vunk that spawns near the shroomz. Kinda nice atma for my SAM since I don't have RR or VV yet. Kinda a toss up between this new one and Alpha Omega atm.
~6/8 DNC feet seals and 1/8 THF feet seals... proly gonna finish those up tonight. The way it was set up got me tons of Evasion/Parry/GK skillups.
~Few more merits. Since I have GK capped at 8 I'm thinking of splitting the last 12 evenly between Dagger and Evasion. Dagger is at 6 already.
~Helped an LS member with 3 Shoggoth(sp?) pops and learned a bit about VNMs in the process. Lol, Soboro + Tachi: Hobaku felt hilariously great.

Celestial.

Ifrit and Garuda are among the Celestial Avatars; there's one for each element. Carbuncle, Fenrir, and Diabolos are among the Terrestrial Avatars, and each sort of do their own thing (rainbows, the moon, and dreams, respectively, iirc).

(And btw, there are Celestial Avatars for Light and Dark . . . they just happen to be Alexander and Odin respectively, and . . . yeah <_< . . .)
