Yeah flayers are bitches in any event that has them, would recommend if anyone in your group/ls has BLU at 75 to take on, they decimate flayers in nyzul and have the only other light based dispel (Blank Gaze) asides from bards Magic Finale.

We go in with BLU x2 (myself and my mentor) SAM, THF, RDM x2 works out pretty well. Usually the only mobs that still make us struggle are Chariots but as long as a BLU can keep them stun locked with Head Butt, they aint so bad.

Caitsith had Martial Master for a week so went nuts on some skillups to take advantage of it...used WAR and PLD to take Scythe and Great Sword both to 250 and got myself Spiral Hell and Ground Strike, at least now when I get DRK finished I don't have to worry about Level Sync leaving my skills gimped. A shellmate also was able to make a signed pair of Devotee's Mitts +1, which I had been trying to get ahold of for a good while now, so I added another point onto my RDM MND build.

Also tacked on 5/5 Helix MAB/MAcc merits for SCH and finally got a buffer, I was super busy when I dinged it to 75 so it was sitting with a 130xp cushion for a week. And tonight a Silkworm Thread dropped from Temenos C3, I think it's been about 8 months since we've last seen one, so our CORs were jumping all over it:

(disclaimer: I am a new player, and a casual player...been playing for less than a month and only play about 8-10 hours a week)
I did a supply run mission last night, and now have my first OP teleport, yeah! How's THAT for an accomplishment?
Next up, I'll get my subjob, and I'll count on you guys to patronize me and tell me I'm awesome for doing so.

Havent logged in for 4 days now.I consider this an accomplishment because its sad to have 3/4 members call or text me to BRIBE me to log in. I consider myself a casual player and I really dont have the schedule to do fulltime endgame events. Still looking to transfer servers or something. Also Congrats Madjo ^^ keep it goin'

Cadox, what server are you on? Someday in a month or so I'm going to look for high level Corsairs to help me do the job quest for COR. I'm going to earn my subjob with my level 18 WAR (my only job, currently), level THF/WAR to 30, then do the job quests for RNG, BST, DRK (which I understand are all pretty easy) and COR (which I think is a wee bit more complicated).

Hopefully they can be done in less than 3 hours. I never sign in for more than 2-3 hours at a time.

Im back on my original server of Unicorn. Vyuru also resides there. If you need a hand ill jump ship. Most of my old friends either quit or got involved into endgame.

My current plan is to reach 30 with my THF/WAR, then go to the auction house in South Sandy and put on a big dramatic show until someone agrees to escort me through an advanced job quest. I'm terrible!

Although thats what I did when i started back in 05. I'd go against that. Would you be willing to come to Unicorn? I dont know if you have friends on Hades or not, but the few friends i have including my roomie could help you out. Especially with level synch youd have a buffer, tank, and dd or healer. PM me and let me know what you have in mind, maybe we can work something out. Sorry to derail the thread.

No can do. 80% or more of my play time is spent with a few close real-life friends that have been playing on Hades for years. Actually, one of them is a level 50 RDM. He might be able to get me through the COR quest. He's just never done it before. Hopefully we're okay using a walkthrough.

Seriously, though? This is probably 2-3 months in the future we're talking about. It's taken me 3 weeks to get my WAR to 18, and it'll take much longer to get a THF to 30. I appreciate your willingness to help, though! Very sweet!

2/2 on Promy 3-5, most of our dyna LS has dreamworld now, can't wait to get that started.

Did an Einhenjar run, it sucked, we were 2 hours late for one, then we couldnt kill this super skeleton, huge eva and AOE drain. Killed the whole run pretty much.

Did a pair of low man Salvage runs, my first ones, it was interesting. Trying to start up a Salvage static, lot of work needs to be done tho. Gotta stack up on AP first. And thats difficult with the static Nyzul runs.

Doing Dyna-Jueno tonite, need that win and a windy win to unlock ice. Sunday's windy run went pretty bad, got kinda disorganized at the end and we ended up losing about 10 mins.
