Yesterday I defeated Apocalypse Nigh. Cool cutscenes and I can pick up my Ethereal Earring after maintenance today. ( logged out right next to Gilgamesh so I could get it right when I log on :p )

Also yesterday I was able to farm enough organs to complete the quest "In the Name of Science", so now I have virtue stones for the Justice Sword I obtained recently. Proc rate is really good. I can't wait to be pld/war with Justice Sword + Virtue Stones and Brutal Earring. 3 chances for a double attack might be fun.

Congratulations! Ethereal Earring is hawt. My ls are taking on Bahamut v1 this week, so beginning the long run up to this. Static Earring - I want!

After getting fed up with shouting for an escort to help me get to the Azouph staging point, I did it myself.

I did that with a couple of my mules. One was a level 5 MNK too I think. With exp parties all over the place in the Mire, you pretty much just need Sneak to get across the zone.

Got my BLM AF1 gloves a couple of days ago, with help from in-game friends. Very happy about that!

Bought Thunder staff (to add to my collection) & tried it with Burst on the above quest. Did well over 1000 dmg in one hit (just a nuke, not MB). Was rather pleased. Everyone fell about laughing.

After the 5th try (yes, 5th -.-) I finally cleared CoP 3-5 and now have access to the tavnazian safehold AH and more Dynamis places.

Which in reality isn't that hard to get, I'd just been putting it off. It's nice having all that space. Even though I know it will get used up in about a week.

A week is generous - I normally fill it in about a day.

I clear out every once in a while, trying to get 20 slots free for fishing - then my ls ask me to hold this seal and that... Last Kirin we did we had all the sackholders fighting over which set would be used first to clear out four slots - I then filled it with an Omega set...

I finally got a good group with my ninja, and went from 34-37 in under three hours in Garlaige. It was so satisfying, as I have pretty much had consistently bad or subpar groups with my NIN, which had left a bad impression of the job. But now I have all my RNG subs up to 37+, and I was able to get there without Utsu: Ni, meaning I don't have to worry about buying it until lvl 74. I felt a little bad about leveling without it in hand, but we were doing so well that I didn't even need Ni.

Now I just need my body AF, Selene's Bow, and Fransisca, and I can push past lvl 60. I'm hoping to do it in time for Thanksgiving weekend, but chances are I won't get any of those items...

Got another PT with a loser SMN who refused to even backup heal, which meant that I was always out of MP and pissed off. Good times!

Other than that, I cleared Dynamis San'doria with minimal deaths on my part.
