Dinged 74 on WHM, and just about to ding 200K Allied Notes. It would be nice if I could find a good way (aside from spamming Cobra Tunics to the AH one at a time for 5-7k each) to turn some of that into gil. Right now it's basically a lot of chocobo rides. I already have the full Cobra Coat set, all but one piece of which was given to me, and I really don't want more Rare/Ex gear.

Also I finally got Goldsmithing to 48 yesterday, so no more stupid Gold Dust all over my fingers. It made me all sneezy-weezy. The gold beastcoins for the last level set me back about 200k, but now I have 16 ingots, and only one coin was lost in a failed synth. The best part was that the Mythril Ring came from a quest I did last week. Now I have four of the eight crafts at Journeyman level.

After I finished that, I noticed my leathercraft was closest to leveling, and I had like eight stacks of ram leather, so I took it from 35.0 to 40.9 this morning. One of these days I'll be able to finish off my Crow Jupon set.

Well my Goldsmithing isn't as high, but I took it from 12-14 today. I should easily get it to at least 16 tomorrow (left for work). I have over an hour desynthing and muling to do though first. Blah. . .

Waited 4 hours for a party on my Drg, 24k in, about to hit 68.

Got to the camp site, synced to 64, another party comes and camps on top of us. I proceed to die 2 times because the ninja doesn't feel like provoking after wait a few seconds, and melee the mob twice. And apparently Cure III takes 20+ seconds to cast. After 30 minutes in the party, I lost a total of 4000~ exp, and nearly 5 hours of my life.

Naw, working on it though. Started doing Salvage again and since Marduk (which I have wishlisted) is so good for Bard, I figured I'd level it for realz. Been having fun with it, pulling definitely keeps it interesting. Now that I'm 24+ I'm gonna start subbing NIN for parties in which I will be pulling, cause those fucking gobs hit hard.

I'm gonna try to get to 37 in the next few days, because syncing in East Ronfaure is beastly. Been syncing to 21 in Qufim pulling 10k/hr so I'm all about the quick shit.

As for SMN, it's just something I do here and there, SMN burn parties fucking rock. Five levels in one chain, can't beat it. If I can, I will take my SMN to 75 this way. Hell, I do have a Summoner's Horn that autosorted to me, might as well get some use out of it. Also, Marduk.

Yup, after not playing for ages that now counts as an accomplishment heh. I would have done some leveling on BST if BST got invites, but instead i sat logged in looking for camp sites online

Now that I'm 24+ I'm gonna start subbing NIN for parties in which I will be pulling, cause those fucking gobs hit hard.

I never subbed nin in all my 75 levels and never had any issues. Nin sub has zero benefits for the party, especially in the levels you are at. If you are afraid of dying, have a melee pull. Someone with a ranged attack should be in most of your pts. I just don't understand this fascination with /nin for brds in the lower levels.

When you have Elegy @39 things will be easier to pull as /WHM as well Aksannyi, it has less of an animation delay than your other spells, the second or so earlier that it ends lets you run a bit sooner and usually can keep you from being hit.

I /NIN for merits but that's really only because on birds I don't feel like being Elegy'd and on mamools Ni casts faster than Blink/Stoneskin allowing me to get to the next pull faster. Pre-74 I would definitely /WHM or /RDM.

Crabs don't move fast enough to catch people anyway.

And no BRD needs to sub /NIN before 55, ever. And not really at 75 either. BRDs can actually afford the risk of going /WHM. I got there all the way with /WHM and I was a puller back in the days pulling was unheard of for BRDs.

BRD/NIN just tells me you don't trust that tank and don't want to do anything to really help a party. Anyone can pull and while BRD may be very efficient at it, its not the only job that can do it.
