Buncha things done this weekend.

Got done with the Promies Holla, Mea, and Dem this weekend I have my suspicions our 1st attempt at Dem was foiled from within. We got to the top and found out our SMN didn't bring any anima and the BLU had brought photoanima instead of psycho... RDM p/u leader freaks out. He starts going off saying "just start it" "solo it SMN, if you're so tuff" ... slightly disconcerting... We still had a ton of anima tho. Funny but we get into the NM room and this P.O'd RDM /tells me to switch anima positions with him cuz he forgot Psycho We got the mob down to below 10% and then suddenly it and it's minions just overwhelm everyone. Only reason I suspect foul play is cuz the RDM was reallly pissed and my LS was surprised we failed Dem saying that Dem was proly the easiest. Anyway... he ditched us and we ditched the p/u BLU (w/ a pension for "afk") who was too poor for run ... 2nd go on Dem, I lead the charge up the spire, we had 2 Smn, and blew it up before I ever saw one minion spwn.

Mea went down even easier... Since I was lucky and got last in the anima-rotation, I never even had to use my Anima; so I sent it for my buddies to use on Holla as I already had it done. Apparently they didn't use it so I got it back... yay.

Thanks again omgwtfbbqkitten ... your quide helpt sooooOOOooooo much.

Then I unlocked Phomiona Aquaducts, and quested for the Tavnazian Map.

Now ... I just need to gather some peeps together for a "panty-raid"... really want that Rap Harness.

Got the Dagger of Trials... [Evisceration], here I come

Helped my buddy get his DRG AF chest piece from Ifrit's and get his Upper Elshimo OP. Weren't expecting it but a Bomb totally wiped & d-Lvl'd him while we were trying to drop the key cuz he forgot to [jump] Good thing a nice RDM was there to pick him up.

Was deperately trying to get a experience party, got an invite to WG, my emp ring is at that magical 1/7 so I use it, and charge it... get there and w/o telling me everyone goes to Caedarva Mire Staging Pt which I didn't have. So I hop on the boat and find another LS buddy aboard otw to get the staging pt. After telling my pt I needed to disband to help another get the SP, and I tell em it won't take long as I have the map; they say "cool, no problem" When I get there I find out they replaced me... /sigh ... kinda saw it coming.

... then I ended up helping him and some others in the Garuda Prime fight... and totally unexpectedly (for me at least) I got wiped by the mob's 1/2 HP AoE

So Ironically... what was gonna be a night of xp'n ended up being the opposite.

Think I'm gonna [Campaign] a bunch... also just got Iron Emblem of Service $$, it seems.

Epic night last night for me.

Got a foothold in the San d'Orian Conquest of Sarutabaruta. By the aid of newer lower-leveled players found midway through the day and my Anniversary Ring, I am now a first-level Shield Master.

Also did some stuff in my linkshell (some members of which have stated that they will aid me in this all-or-nothing conquest). Two of the members got married last night, and the marriage, held on an isolated patch of land in the south of East Sarutabaruta, was nothing short of awesome.

Also, when Persona was brought up, I let them know that "I have heard that Persona is a cool guy, eh shoots himself in the head and doesn't afraid of anything."

So, whoo, what a day yesterday.

Good morning for me-

Was farming goobues for tree cuttings and moss and went to trade in moss after i was done, it was enough to bump up my Jeuno fame, so I got gobbiebag 3 completed. From there I went on to finish my rank 5 (airship pass is SO sweet) and also got my AF2 quest finished.

Next up- Chasing Hands quest and the fight with Dark Spark, and XP up to 55 hopefully- I'm pretty jazzed about Sidewinder... though a little sad that I won't have an E-bow to go with it.

My latest accomplishment... hanging up on SE smiling. ^__^ hahaha, I've read a few things where people hung up on them very unhappy so I was prepared for the worst.

When I finish these updates my first goal will be to finally put effort into beating all the Promies. I've only done one of them. <__<

Today started with an epic partial LS meripo in which two bards were present, pulling 25k/hr, not even thirty minutes after I woke up. Got six merits today. So that puts me at Thunder Potency 5/5 and Ice Potency 4/5.

We got Tiamat today, gaiters dropped, so one more person out of my way. XD

Got Ix'Aern DRG to pop twice today, back to back. Not even joking. It popped, we killed it, killed the next Aern in the room, and it popped again. Two deeds in one treasure pool, rofl.

And on top of that, finished my Rairin Obi.

Last night I dinged 70 and now I'm planning strategy for Maat while banging on the fortifications in Eldieme_S to get some buffer XP on the 70.

But it wasn't quite as simple as that. I was about 1900 tnl and was feeling drowsy. There was a double Besieged starting soon, and I knew I wouldn't have another chance for a whole day to skill up if I missed the second one. (This morning I woke up to the last 10 minutes of the third Besieged, so I was right.) I logged out, thought about it for a moment, then decided I could try taking a nap while banging on the fortifications in Eldieme_S, and possibly reach 70 in time and awake for the second Besieged.

So I logged back on, started banging, and nodded off for half an hour or so. I woke up, cashed in my tags, and now I'm 900 tnl. That seemed promising, so I banged some more, traded tags, 270 tnl. Then 20 tnl. A little more and I finally hit 70. Then I warp my butt home, take the 300 gil warp to Whitegate, go through the Mog House, and make a beeline for the Sanction NPC. As I was approaching the Sanction NPC, the final warning goes off, and I get the Refresh just in time for a Besieged with no Wizard's Drink.

First I skilled up Enhancing and Healing on General Mihli, then I went out to skill up Enfeebling and Divine. I finished Divine about two minutes before time ran out. So it was close, but I managed to get everything done in time.

After a few weeks, I have something worth posting. I finally got my Rairin Obi.

The hardest part was getting the luminian tissue. I was killing the dolphins(hpemde?), aerns, and sharks(phaubo?). I got 1 tissue in 6 hours. Then I learn by accident which one has a better drop rate on the tissue and I get 1 tissue about 1-2 hours. It is so slow because the mobs are extremely dangerous and are really hard to kill solo. I died about 9 time perfecting a way to solo them in my crappy gear without dying.

I probably should invite another BLM along with me to share the tissue drops to speed up the process not to mention giving all the extra organs to. I have enough of each mob type(20 organs) that I dont need to farm organs anymore...just tissue. I sure there are a few BLM who will want to come along.

I should have a complete set (except the one for light magic) probably within two months. I need to farm some gil to fund the effort. I so excited because I almost hit 2k(1926) damage on Thunderday with the Rairin Obi.

I managed to get lucky and picked up a Sorceror's Petasos. 2 dropped in the same run, and they both went as 70+ freelots...

I had spent the past few days working up macros (including testing them, which did find some problems) and strategy, watching youtube videos (lol at people who cast Protectra / Shellra when solo, along with /p messages in the macro), then I finally went to do warmup.

There was a Besieged coming up, so I went out to my current skillup place (jungle gobbies in front of Ifrit's Cauldron) and beat on a few gobs while I was waiting. (Protip: if you stand with your back against a wall, Goblin Rush won't interrupt your spell casting.) Then I pwned in Besieged, even cure-tanking for a while (yes, mister random Mamool Ja, please hit me some more), and when that was all over and I had rested up, my PS2 crashed with 60 seconds left. I was pissed about that, which meant it was time to take it out on Maat.

I went in with capped magic skills and no AF items except the Blessed Hammer as part of my initial MP build, and dropped five Reposes on him. The first one did not last the full 90 seconds, and the third one was resisted. The rest of the time my blink/stoneskin absorbed most of the attacks, which were nothing but Holy, Dia II, and a few ordinary punches. I didn't even need all the meds I brought, except for having to drink Blinding Potion two more times. My MP and HP bars barely moved.

It's 3:30 now, and I'm hungry, so I'm going out to get some (Tavnazian?) Taco Cabana to celebrate.
