No, the nin suddenly forgot what Provoke was. It was the brd that was trying to me how to SAM/THF. From, like, way the hell at the back of Aydeewa Subterane. The war just seemed to refuse to cooperate and didn't wanna get SATA'd on. Like it was gonna end his world to take hate for a few seconds.

You know, I can't help but wonder if the THF knows about the new, improved TA a THF gets at 60 ... after that, it's worth NOT stacking SA and TA, and I could see the THF TAing the WAR, and you SATAing the NIN once it turns...

Between last 2 days; Got RDM to 68 with 2 emperor band and 4 anniversary band charges left, got Fenrir, and finally got Denali boots from Nyzul for my BLU.

You guys and your l33t g33rz... it makes me feel a bit inadequate about this now, but the other day I decided I wanted some Crow set stuff, since I've seen it mentioned as good gear for the Maat fight and also for solo WHM. So I crafted Beret, Jupon, and Bracers with my 60 clothcraft skill, +1 from the glasses, and +3 from advanced support. I also dug out some Terra crystals from my MH storage to sign them all. All three synthed on the first try. I'm less than happy about the +MP loss, but I like wearing them when not in battle so that people can see me wearing three pieces of signed gear.

And I refused to pay a premium for the gold thread, so I synthed that too. Hooray multiple craft skills! Interestingly, Crow seems to be one of the few sorts of gear where the NQ sells for a profit, probably because of the multiple skills required to make it, and too many people trying to get their mules to 100 on a single skill with the others barely touched.

Question: is it just me, or do Tarutarus look adorable in Crow Beret and Crow Jupon? It just makes my taru look so cutesy-wutesy huggy-wuggy!


There's still stuff I'm trying to get done. With crafting, I have all the 10K key items except for the two puppet part and two arrow ones. But I still want to get Bonecraft to 28 so that all my crafts will be at that level or higher, then I can start getting them all to 48. I just haven't found any compelling reason to level bonecraft yet (it went along for the ride as I was farming dhalmels for leathercraft), but I'll level it when I start farming dhalmels again and make more gelatin from their bones.

I'm still doing planning for the Maat fight. I am so tempted to go in there and try Repose without AF but with all magic skills capped to level 70, since the AF gear looks to take me longer than I want to. The pantaloons at +15 are only worth 3 levels of Divine, and people have beaten him at level 66 without even capping Divine. I'd rather spend my time making and testing good macros. Also, I'm learning how not to get KO as often in campaign, which is probably good training for kiting Maat around if a Repose fails, and I'm even starting to melee various mobs ( Leechkeepers, also Banish III for nice damage, usually up to 250-ish in campaign, but got 496 on Marchelute).

And I just dinged 69 last night, so I can use that Numinous Shield I bought at the same time as I made the Crow gear. I want to work on my shield skills now, since that's the only WHM combat skill (other than Throwing at 0) which I don't have to at least level 50.

Don't EVER feel inadequate about your accomplishments! Personally, I prefer reading about newer players accomplishments over the established ones. I've never crafted armor myself, but I remember the first piece I had crafted and how nervous I was. Then when he made it and it failed, how devestated I was knowing I had to obtain all that shit again!! LOL So congrats on your accomplishments!!
