I liked tanking as NIN, until I tried tanking as DNC/NIN and liked that much better...though I don't know how anyone who doesn't want NIN at 75 manages to go past 37. I had a replacement waiting the moment I dinged, said thanks for the party, popped Ni scroll, popped Mijin, and never touched NIN again. Zero regrets.

I would've done this except I had a puller in the party that was a lunatic. There were no tanks seeking and I was supposed to have left when i hit 37 but instead I ended up staying until i hit 38, since he decided to keep pulling about 30 mins after I had said I was leaving. lol a friend of mine said I should've told them, well you can keep pulling if you want to but you'll have to tank it when you get back and then disbanded and left mid-pull.

We decided that if we told him he couldn't lot on BLU body tomorrow and he still entered the zone he'd possibly be a ninja-lot risk and we didn't really want to chance it. Shellholder told him we're letting him go after Limbus, and I talked to the one we wanted to keep. He was like the 3rd person ever on my friend list back in the Dunes days in 04 so I just laid it straight out to him, we like you but we can't deal with your friend anymore, and we don't hold it against you, and he said he understood.

Well, 3 different characters and just as many years playing (plus a little bit), I finally hung in long enough to make it to the Maat fight. Bonus accomplishment, I beat him (first time, as Paladin).

Actually had an awesome run overall last night despite drama over the shell leader flat out ganking the zone, but I wasn't even online at the time and got to log on to 500 tells from the other shell bitching about it. Still a decent night overall.

Actually had an awesome run overall last night despite drama over the shell leader flat out ganking the zone, but I wasn't even online at the time and got to log on to 500 tells from the other shell bitching about it. Still a decent night overall.

Ya that sucks balls. My old shellholder did the same thing and I knew the shellholder of the competing shell. His ls pounded me with /t's demanding I do something. Like what!? I'm a woman sac so I already get ignored and the shellholder and his ass kissers were already justifying what they were doing by the time I knew about it. I did bring the topic up on the forums and it was decided that we wouldn't do it again. Ya riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, he did it again. I logged and caught holy hell the next day too. Funny thing, I ended up applying to the first shell we ganked the zone from where I knew the shellholder after our ls disbanded. I /t'd him first asking him if it was going to be an issue or not. LOL {Congratulations!} on the breeches! How many more pieces to go?

I'm going to go with 2 because I don't really expect to ever see the body. I have hands and legs now.

And yeah I kind of felt bad, but at the same time the last time we had a conflict with this shell we were very civil and asked if we could /random for the zone since they had done it 3 straight weeks(it was Xarc). Their members told us to go fuck ourselves(those words specifically), and they popped their glass. Then last night all their members were QQing about how we didn't ask them to move and how we should've attempted to work things out with them. When I explained that we didn't because of the way they treated us last time they were like "Well you didn't try today!", because of course people who are total pricks one week always are super nice on other days.

Some background on the whole deal as well, Ramuh in general is cutthroat on Dynamis zones, the last time we made a concerted attempt to get people on a calendar system 2-3 shells used the calendar to intentionally gank other shells' zones by showing up 15-20 minutes earlier. Most shells just laughed off the use of it. The shell we ganked also said 'they had it scheduled', knowing that noone uses the calendar, and they also said they had scheduled those 3-4 straight Xarc runs they did, so of course scheduling on a site noone uses entitles you to the zone for a whole month. The shell has been doing Dynamis on Ramuh for at least 3 years now, they should know full well how it goes on here, and they spent literally 20 minutes bitching and trying to trick us into trading their members glasses so they could come in and start shit inside the zone.

Ya the first ls our shellholder did it to was a nice ls and wanted to work something out. So we were the pricks in that case. The guys you did it to sound like they deserved it. I usually don't promote doing things that way but when people act like that I'm more likely to look the other way. They probably wanted you to try so that they could keep you busy while their members gathered and they popped the damn glass.

Ya that damn body is a pisser. I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen one drop in all my years of Dynamis. My last ls gave one out to a guy that no one liked and he hated playing pld. Great choice. My son who loved playing pld, most people liked, and was on for damn near every event was passed over. The guy that got it promptly stopped playing pld too. He left the shell after people were pissed about it. Luckily a few months later another one dropped and my son got it.

Just to keep this on topic (LOL), an accomplishment for my son was......he got a Hautclaire yesterday!

I finally gotten savage blade WS two nights ago.

The fight was easier then what wiki said it would be. We won with 75RDM, 75 BLU, 75 BLU, 75 PLD, 68 WHM. Only one BLU died because he was /THF and did a SA <mystic ws skill> -> Vertical Cleave and the PLD couldnt get hate back.
