Well actually you can, but it isn't at your will and were you end up is not your choice if you elect to change servers.

The only way possible is to "World Shift" this is done by Square-Enix's choice and they get to choose what set of servers you can go to. Even then out of the set the send you to one randomly, they do keep in mind if a group going are all members of the same LS and will try to keep them together.

Things to remember if you signup for a "World Shift" are:

• Anything in Delivery Box or Auction House will be lost.
• Linkpearls are converted to unopened Linksacks.
• World Shifts occur only for each character you signup for it, so if want mules to go also they must signup. Square-Enix will group any characters of yours to go to the same server if that character has signed up for the "World Shift"

To signup for the world shift you have to wait first for SE to do a world shift, when they do a world shift look for the character called "World Shifter" located in the 3 nations. There is tons more info about this if you need just search for "World Shift" and you should get it.

Just to let you know World Shift and World Pass ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.

Yes, there is a chance for you to switch servers. There will, I repeat, WILL be a server migration once the xbox 360 version of ff11 comes out. Some heavy servers will have migrations, due to overpopulation, and there will be an attempt to evenly distribute people to different servers.
