I played from 4pm to 10pm and didn't have 1 disconnection. It's on your side i'm afraid.

So it seems. Apparently FFXI + Azureus do not mix well.

Ok, if you're wired through a router, you most likely have to configure your router to let the FFXI Packets pass through. Search the Official PlayOnline Site for those specific ports. [ http://www.playonline.com ]
If you don't know how to exactly configure your router, you can Google some help for it. [ http://www.google.com ]
After that, if you're still DCing at an irregular rate, you might wanna call your ISP and have them check the lines coming into your modem.


And, btw, Linksys routers are crap. I went through 3 of them on my Cable Modem, until I switched to a D-Link DI-604... I haven't had any problems since.

Don't have any downloading program such as Kazaa, Bittorrent, etc thing going, they don't get along with FFXI.
