    Re: I never knew what those GREEN porters in Sky do... do you?

    someone asked this question at the Fan Festival... they said, they dont have any use for them at this moment. They build the map and terrain with things they sometimes use, but often not. So they could use it later in otehr updates... but you never know.

      north gust used to have caves that led to dead ends in the very beginning, now they are entrances to OLD town an NEW town. same could be said for jungar forest. those caves were nothing til CoP made them into carpts landing.

          Won't have anyting to do with ToUA because like the other expansions, you don't need one expansion to play another expansion. You don't need RoZ for CoP and new expansion will be the same. So since you don't need RoZ for ToUA then it's impossible for sky portals to have anything to do with ToUA D;

            Doesn't Dynamis - Tavnazia require both RoZ and CoP? So there are some areas that require both expansions.

              Based on that wording though, it only requires one or the other. "Players who.....Roz or CoP...". Based on that it doesn't seem to care which one you have, so long as you have one. I wonder if some of the stuff encoded for Dynamis is in duplicate on both expansions.

                Yeah, I know it reads like that, but I think it's just badly worded. It doesn't make any sense to require either one unless there are redundant dat files.

                I'm pretty sure it's supposed to mean if either of the discs have not been installed and registered, you will be unable to enter.

                  Yea I wasn't exactly sure about that so I just asked someone instead of checking the site, they said just like other expansions and you don't need the other expansions. Although this expansion is going to be a lot different than the rest, I still have a feeling that it will be like the others and you can play the expansion even if you just own the main game and what you just bought. But at the same time now that the game and 2 expansions are packaged together on a DVD for the PC, and all on the Xbox 360 discs, it's very possible that they will require both expansions since it won't seem like such a difficult thing to ask for. So it really could go either way and with SE's iffiness about the new expansion I don't know what to believe. In the end I guess it's all just speculation and we'll just have to wait and see

                    then all our mule accounts will need to get expansions if we are to send them to mule in the new area... I think that's a pretty smart way to sell more boxes ><

                      Did they say if the new AH would be separate from Jeuno? That could cause some serious problems.

                        Well, back to the topic of the green sky teleports... SE said on the fanfestivan that sometimes developers like to place things that do nothing in case they change their mind later, and these are one of those.. oh well!

                          Do you mean a different account mule? If not then i'm confused at what you're talking about D;

                              The Green Telepads are useless. At Fan Fest, SE said they sometimes add things in incase they want to use them at a later date, and they never decided to use these.

                              I suppose Doll Gizmo and Cactuar Needle are examples of this.
