  • Need FFXI install discs somehow!

First off, I'm new to the Dreams in Vana'diel forum, I played at launch, hit 30, got busy with work, school, etc. and gave it up. I want to get back into it, but I've moved around a bunch since then, and lost the discs.

I've lost my FFXI install discs and need to download them, but I can't find any resources on the internet. I have a vaild account and everything, so I'm not asking for anything crazy, just a torrent or iso or hell, even someone local to hook me up with a copy of the CDs.

If anyone has a buddy pass thing I've heard about, I think that'll work too. Anything to get my FFXI fix again!

You're going to have to buy them again. But don't worry! The Game with both expansion packs come in a little package called "The Vana'Diel Collection". I bought mine at Gamestop. It's only $29 too! I think it comes with a Free Final Fantasy I-Tunes download, both expansion packs(Rise of the Zilart And Chains of Promathia), and some other stuff I think.

It's illegal to download pirated software off the internet and all the jazz.

Uhh, check the link Impaction posted.

The matter of downloading FFXI and whether or not is illegal has been discussed multiple times. Technically, when you're buying the game you're paying for the account. You can always borrow the disc from someone and install it yourself.

However, discussions on this matter usually lead to something that's definitely illegal.

It'd be dumb to hand out warnings and whatnot on something like this, but we shall speak no more of this.
