What do you actally mean by there is part of his summonable quest already there?

That is just the first of 2 BC fights against Bahamut. The Second BC is activated when you trade a Monarch Orb, obtained from the uncapped Ouryu BC, as well as having the whipser in your key items. The second BC is Vs Bahamut again; however, every 20% HP he summons a CoP Wrym (Jouragound, Tiamat, Vrtra and Ouryu) and every 10% HP he uses a -Flare WS (100%->50% Megaflare, 50%->10% Gigaflare, 10%->0% Teraflare, though teraflare is spammed until the BC is ended). CoP Wyrms have less HP but act much differently. Drops are the crafting materials that the wryms drop plus Bahamuts Staff, Dragon Staff, Bahamut's Hose, Bahamut's Zagyl, and Bahamut's Mask.



IMO, Bahamut would have to be super weakend for players to use, since the flares do a lot of damage (teraflare=spike flail damage appently). Also they would have to stick him in the oven like a Shrinky-dink. Diabolos is already almost too big.

Ahh one more edit wont hurt. To add on to what Taziari said about the NPC story line, Limbus also has a bit to add as well. After turning in the parts of Proto-Omega and Proto-Ultima you get a small CS with the guy in Mhaura and 1 of 2 other NPCs, a hume F Blue mage in full Nashira or a hume M in full Homam. Both these NPC talk about how they (as in the Empire of Aht Urghan) are going to use the parts of Ultima and Omega to restore the Divinity of Light.

go to mystery tour and under quest ru garden and u can see its a new quest.

The 5th dragon you're looking for Wishmaster is Ouryu. For the life of me I can't find any background story for him though. Can anyone help out with this?

Odin probably won't be a summonable avatar, because... In mythology fenrir eats Odin, yup.

In Norse mythology, Fenrir was a wolf which the Aesir could not restrain until the dwarves fashioned a rope. While Fenris was being bound, he bit off Tyr's hand. At Ragnarok, Fenris killed Odin and then was killed by Vidar.

So technically Odin is already in the game... He's in Fenrir's belly o_o

But I do see Bahamut and phoenix as possibilities

Ouryu

Huánglóng (黃龍) - Yellow/Golden Dragon Guardian of the Center. Associated with the change of seasons, the color yellow, and the element of earth. Usually ignored in Japan (especially in popular comics and writing), but pronounced Ouryuu/Kouryuu (黄龍).

I believe I edited my posts with the five dragons already, Ouryu, to clarify, is put in the same category as the 4 Gods of RoZ. According to Wikipedia:

In the MMORPG Final Fantasy XI, Suzaku, Seiryu, Byakko, and Genbu were featured as special enemies in the Rise of the Zilart expansion. The follow-up expansion, Chains of Promathia, added another special monster named Ouryu (although in a completely different area of the game's world).

If you havent seen it, its very intresting!
It has been overly debated that summoenrs already have summons, and that all the elements are already covered, but now, we happen to have 2 dark based avatars, fenrir and diabolos right, well why not have 2 light avatars, 2 fire avatar, etc.

Any comments?

And Fenrir isn't Darkness based necessarily iirc. Fenrir is a Celestial Avatar that represents all the elements, hence having to get a whisper from all the Terrestrial Avatars to attain hnim. Correct me if I'm wrong though. =P

Well, yes to some point you are correct, but if you look at this sphere color its black, meaning he is dark bases, now if you add up all colors the result is the color white not black. So also, correct me if i am wrong but i am pretty sure is dark based, to my knowledge the only non elementarl avatar or summon in FF is Bahamut!

Could be right there, but I thought all the Celestial Avatars weren't any Element technically. Now, I mean this in the case that we're all trying to determine on the basis of defining what elements are represented so far in the game, what elements are left to be covered and find out what avatars might be added. So, Fenrir may be darkness based concerning his attacks and what-not. But as far as him representing the second of 2 dark based avatars, I don't think he counts. Like I said though, it's entirely possible i'm full of it. lol

Well, we could go on and on, and everyone will give their opinion, this is the beauty of debate and speculation. But still me being a summoner, I can tell you that we do need more avatars. Now I dont want to touch an old subject of the usefuleness of avatars, but I do think that the SMN if a job that a bit left in the dark, Diabolos did gave us a new overhaul but still there is much to be done. I will keep insisting and keeping my hopes high for Phoenix. Now, to my understanding....

To my understanding, information from friends who have finished the CoP storyline, CoP ends with a phoenix feather that falls from the sky, meaning that phoenix is back.... is that correct? This leads me to believe that Phoenix will most likely play a mayor role in ToA
