Any time someone would offer their services to me for free, I'll easily take it. If it can save 1k, great. So, come to Fairy and give me free teles all you want!

You guys always make it sound bad for a WHM to charge for teles. I'm poor and trying to get the spells I need to lvl my different jobs. So I sit in Lower Jeuno and when someone shouts tele, reward or not, I invite them.

If they pay before or after, I don't care. If they don't pay at all, I don't care. If they ask me how much, I always tell them "Whatever you think it's worth". Because they're paying for the time I spend in Lower Jeuno instead of farming silk, not the actually MP/teleportation.

So I don't ask for money, but I gladly accept any donation amount. Is this wrong?

(although it does bother me when prices on my server seem to be 1k minimum that I get from people, and someone with over 20mil in equipment tipped me 500 gil for a teleport-mea. Mea is the hardest of the first 3 scrolls to get so normally people appreciate them more. Not that I really care about the 500 gil, but I didn't even get a thank you as they run off with their Emprerors Hairpin, Leaping boots, and full set of +1 armor....)

LOL No, we aren't saying that charging people is bad. Many whm's use tele'ing as income. I know I got most of my gil for Erase from tele'ing. We are just talking about how funny it is that people don't like to /t whms for teles even if they are free. You know that added extra effort is too taxing! LOL

That's definitely the truth. I didn't mean this post only, per se. But a lot of posts I've read on here lately seem to look down on charging for teles. Everyone likes to brag about "Oh, I do teles for free all the time. I refuse money". It upsets me that people have that much free time in this game and are just that bored =(

LOL Well I do it when I'm bored. It is usually right before I go to bed. I have 30 mins to spare and I don't want to go to bed early so I'll sit in Lower giving out free tele's. I just like to do it because its my way of saying thanks to the community for the help I've received from people in the game.

I can understand that.. I feel better knowing you used tele's to save for Erase (which is what I'm trying to do)

When I needed to do Erase, finding a party of people I could trust wasn't an option. I wasted seals on 2 occasions doing bcnm's. First off finding a pt that will let you have the scroll if it drops is not going to happen. So I figured I could make money off the bcnm's to pay for it, not! Twice I never received my money. Of course, I was fair and sent out theirs but I never received anything. One group told me "Oh it was your orb your loot!" when that is NOT what we agreed on. So I said "ok then, give me back the gil I sent you!" Of course I never did receive it. The second time I went with 3 people that were "friends" and again I didn't get my money. "Oh I sent it! I must have sent it to the wrong person!" Ya riiiiiiiiiiiight my name is unique so that would be impossible.

So in disgust I did tele's for cash. It took a long time to make the cash and I did MANY hours of teles (8 hours a day at times...couldn't go longer or I would have lost my sanity!). I'm sure other people have had better luck than I have but thats the reason that I did tele's for my scroll.

The best way to get erase BCNM, imho, or any specific drop for that matter is to say screw the "your orb your drop" method. get some -friends- together, people you trust, and just sell everything (even erase!) and split the gil. Before you know it everyone has enough gil to get exactly what they want.

Someone in Hades was doing the whole Tele for free buisness the other day,well kinda he wanted 69g. I have to admit paying 2k for a tele instead of /telling him was just down to the fact that I didnt trust him, somewhere in my mind I was thinking that a whm teleing for 69g is just a little off, like hes gonna hack your money in trade seens as it was a wierd number. Maybe he was just a sexual predator, I dunno but I didnt use him
