Are you tired of inflation?
Do your teeth grind in your sleep at the thought of seeing prices rise everyday while you sit in Lower Jeuno shouting about it?
Do you suffer long bouts of depression induced by the knowledge that your friends are wearing leet gear that you can't afford?

WELL HAVE I GOT THE MIRACLE CURE FOR YOU MY FRIENDS!
you can stop whining and complaining about the "inflation" and actually go do something to make more gil.
ex.1 typical whiner in lower jeuno b!7c#ing about the prices-
"ZOMG! all these greedy people keep raising prices. STOP PAYING THEIR PRICES and things will go down!" - this method is known as the "I'll hope things get better while I do nothing about it" process
alternate solution -
Get out of Lower Jeuno, run out to Rolanberry Fields and kill some bees or where ever and whatever. Just do something about it instead of expecting a handout. This is called working for your money method.
ex.2 LS member complaining that he does farm but the price raises just as he has enough money and then he has to go farm some more - this is known as the "I haven't adapted to inflation yet" syndrome.
alternate solution -
Invest your gil in an armor item that's rising steadily with the "inflation". I spent almost two weeks fishing my tail end off and synthing sushi to save 20M for a scorpion harness (post xmas). Instead of hoarding 20M gil in my MH for two weeks I bought 2 flame rings and a sniper's ring when I had the money. Guess what? I made 4M profit off of those rings in that two weeks. This is called the "make your money work for you" method.
*SHOCK!* *SURPRISE!* *WOWZERS*
2 SIMPLE as can be solutions of countless possible solutions, yet everyone wants to sit around and b!7c# and moan about inflation.
Be proactive instead of reactive people. It's part of the game, if you can't adapt to it you LOSE. Simple. It's really not that bad once you get up off your @$$ and do something FOR YOURSELF instead of crying "WOE! is me" about EVERYDAY.
Everytime I see someone complain about inflation I ask 1 question - What's your main craft?
The answer I get? "Huh?! what's that got to do with anything?" or " Anycraft lvl 20 or lower."
Wow... you have to wonder why you don't have money? SE IMPLEMENTED this system for YOU to make gil. Sure you have to WORK for it, but c'mon I spend 40 minutes a day on my mule (80 alchemy) making poison potions netting a profit of 500K/7 stacks (AH Load - 70K/stack on Asura - farming/NPCing ingredients and crystals)
Then there'll be those people who complain "OMG crafting iz so exzpenzive dooood!" and that's yet another lazy excuse not to craft. I lvled Cooking to 70 on less than 500K (prolly the equivalent to 1.5M now) and at lvl 70 I could HQ mithbobs and make a FORTUNE. Especially if I farmed the tabors out in Sauro.
So really, do us all a favor and look for something VALID to scream and cry about. Something that you YOURSELF *can't* change. Maybe THEN you'll find some sympathy.
Or, just quit the game. ^^ No one's got you at gunpoint saying "PLAY BISH!"
