We don't know that the city is called Aht Urhgan yet, and my opinion is it won't be. So far all of the expansion packs have been named after the main enemy. And Treasures of Aht Urhgan, sounds more like a pirate! o_o lol

"It is for this reason that Arrapago Reef became the final bastion for a kingdom that was destroyed by an attack from Aht Urhgan." That also makes it sound somewhat like there was either a war or Aht Urhgan is a person that liked to attack things. Aht Urhgan could even be a city of pirates or evil people!

I can't wait until they release more info, I want my questions to be answered!

Near Eastern Aht Urhgan Empire, is mentioned at the official site, so this city is most likely the capital of that empire.

from the official page on the Mamool Ja:

The Mamool Ja are a group of beastmen that hold dominion over the Mamool Ja Savagelands, a land hostile to the Near Eastern Aht Urhgan Empire.

Referring to themselves as the Mamool Ja, meaning "brethren of the shining scale," the inhabitants of the Savagelands are organized into four biologically different classes that consist of warriors, aquatics, sages, and knights. The Mamool Ja have been paying tribute to the Aht Urhgan Empire since ages past, and are known for their republican form of government. Their nation is ruled by a council of four overlords, one selected from each class. The Savagelands' recent uprising against the empire seems connected to the emergence of a prominent leader known as the "The Autarch."
And as for the Arrapago Reef, well I would guess that if it were once a kingdom destroyed by the Aht Urhgan Empire then it may have been a corrupt kingdom based on the fact it is now a nest for undead and Lamiae. The Kingdom there may have created the Lamiae.

Anyone else think of Buu when you first see the new beastmen up close. And yes, I'd imagine fighting off raids in the new expansion.

Aren't the Lamia supposed to be a beastmen race as well? I dunno why, but I think I read about that somewhere >.>

yeah the Lamia are suppose to be like necromancer's or something, and raids would be cool, hehe nothing like sitting around looking and maybe of shoping around the city and then having to get together with a bunch of people to fight off beastmen attacking the city hehe

                    Re: New race of beastmen

                    Lamia are chimera, artificial beings.

A bewitching race of beastmen with an upper body like that of a Hume woman and a lower body resembling that of a venomous serpent.
The Lamiae are few in number compared to the other beastmen inhabitants of the Near East. However, they have ensorceled the bones of fallen soldiers, creating an undead army of considerable size to defend their reef settlements.
Lamiae are known to sneak into towns in the depths of night, wielding powerful bows and hunting humans to replenish their armies; hence the Near Easterners' dread of sunset.
According to rumor, Lamiae are not technically a race of beastmen, but actually a form of organic weapon (also known as a chimera), created by alchemists fusing the parts of multiple organisms.
Whoever created such a race deserves punishment.
