It couldnt be as bad the Evercrack, use to play that game sometimes 72 hours straight in a row, with no sleep, little food, and little time spent outside the computer room. I dont think FF XI will reduce me to that.

Expeditionary force:
Grab a buncha people and go whack stuff after asking to join an Expeditionary Force at your nation's guard, the more you kill the more conquest points you get, and the higher your nation rises in the tally.

I thought groups of Beastmen popped during Expeditionary Forces and you had to take them down with more than a group? I wouldn't know, haven't done one, but that's how I thought it worked.

Response to post about not paying attention to conquest. People that don't yet have the outpost warp because they haven't been able to do the supply quests are very concerned about which way the conquest results are going so they can get the supply quest done in order to be able to outpost warp. There's also some nice Conquest items for high ranking people but they require your nation to be in first.

LMFAO. I usually try to play on the weekends. I'm going to college, so it's kinda hard to play on the weekdays. This game is what keeps me going though: I'm always looking forward to playing on the weekends and when they arrive I usually spend up to 6-8 hours at a time playing the game

Same here, i dont get bored because i play mainly on weekends, during the week because of work i just login to hang out a bit and see if anyone needs help.. or just camp the guild store in bibiki bay while chatting with my pirates

I assume that the X Box 360 version of this game will come with Chains of Promathia, and the Rise of Zilart, but will it come wit the newest expansion, Treasures of Aht Urhgan?

It will most likely come with rize of the zilart and chains of promathia (the pc version already comes with both). Don't count it coming with the 3rd expansion though. Chances are, both FF11 and Treasures of Aht Urgan will come out relatively at the same time. SE likes to make it's money's worth.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if the expansion comes out at the same time as xbox version. I believe because of that the expansion WILL be included in the xbox version.

As for this game swallowing your soul, I now believe it. My credit card got pwned and its taking forever to get a replacement. I haven't played in 2 weeks! /cry

This game took my soul away 'bout a year ago. >.> Oh and Expeditionary force is when you go to certain areas in regions and find Beastmen Banners that spawn NM Beastmen to kill. Such as a Goblin Redmage, or Orcish Dragoon. Min. level EF is @ 30 I believe. That's the area like Valkurm dunes and Jugner forest.

Eh he, I used to play every single day, until one day it went too far, a fight with the LS ensued and I decided to leave. Since then I've made a brand new character, kept in contact with some of my old friends, and learned a very important lesson; do NOT be a slave to this game, play when you want to have fun, not because you have to make money in order to get that cool gear or whatever... Now I don't play as often , but when I do I thouroughly enjoy it

One thing that really pisses me off, is when someone in game starts complaining they are bored and don't know what to do. This game is full of things to do, if you feel bored and lost, it's probably because you've been playing too much, please log off and have a life.
