Events?

I've got a question. Is there a bonus to doing all these events? Like the Christmas Event and maybe the New Years Event. Is there a bonus do you get really rare items and stuff? Any feedback would be nice.

Yes, some events give better things than others. Like the Trick Staff II that has warp enchantment and what not.

aye some events are nice others not so much. This years new years event gets you a fishing item of some sort, but i am not much of a fisher so i dont really know to much about it. But last years easter event got some nifty pieces of furniture.

its just a fishing enhancement that lasts a few hours...

most of the gear is just novelties and fun junk to clog up you mog house. a few of the items can be useful, but none of it is really game-breaking.

personally, i like the events. i think they're a nice touch

it would be cool if they had a "fun" event some time, that card trading event for the santa suit was a nightmare (my last trade i needed a 70-75bst ... the odds..), goldfish scooping ..
well... scooping goldfish. Smacking the elvaans with electric sticks was cool if you could ever catch one.
the sashes event with the buffalo's.. that was actually a cool reward (HQ anyway, +2 enmity).

i've never really done any of them. my little brother plays my character sometime and he got this christmas pitchfork thing, but i didn't participate at all. so are these events more of a hassle then a bonus?

A Christmas pitchfork? That's one screwed up holiday season you must have in your house.

It another thing to do. Take a break from the grind and do an event, so you can say "I did that" to yourself. Sometimes it can be a hassle, and having multiple LSes really helps.

You can't really call any of them fun or boring. How much fun it is directly connected to how many friends are doing it.

Heh, the pitchfork was for Halloween not Christmas >.>

Though if you want to get technical in it you could say the Pitchfork still fits for the event considering that Dec. 25th is originally a pagan holiday. Just when christianity came about for whatever reason they decided to keep Dec. 25th and say it was Christ's birthday when his actual birthday is more around Easter.
