Would you object to using a turbo controller for the PS2? to make it spam a /targetnpc /provoke macro? Its hardware, built in! But is it wrong?

its not playing the game for you, you're still initiating the actions, you dont have some machine running your character, you are running your character. besides, i dont think turbo controllers are against the ffxi and pol agreement >.>

turbo controller would cause massive command errors :x try and type in /targetnpc then use provoke :x and spam it. itll give errors for going in to fast last i checked

i wish i can be in jail for like 1hour but i never get my chance for more then 2years in ffxi.
Just wanna go in and feel it yourself and i had never seen a GM in game for more then 2 years too !!!

If our soldiers are not overburdened with money, it is not because they have a distaste for riches; if their lives are not unduly long, it is not because they are disinclined to longevity.

If they use bots to defeat gilsellers, it is not because they want to be cheaters.

Unless you are using those chests to specifically beat Gil sellers to an NM and then giving away any and all drops, free of charge, to those who need it, then using 3rd pt software to 'beat' gil sellers *is* cheating. You and you alone are profiting from the cheats, and you are not helping the general community, like soldiers or police officers having guns can do, to become a better place. If you use those cheats to enhance your own personal standing in anyway, yes you are a cheater.

It's not the cheat itself that's ruining the game, it's the people willing to use these cheats. And there is very little SE can do to stop people from being people.
