Avoid Updates

I read somewhere that someone got their update files and burned them to disc so she/he didnt have to re-download them on his/her other computer and could just get the files from disc to the hard drive. Can anyone tell me how to do this if its possible?

I don't know. What you could do is just make a backup of your your FFXI folder. You won't have much to update then, if you re-install and paste the folder.

I do what Sweetkitty said. It may ask you to update, but after the first phase (verifying the files) it'll skip the update altogether. Helps a lot whenever one of my hard drives die on me and I need to reinstall.

Okay, So I just copy all the files from my main pc to my other one?
